Holder for a user identification badge and an associated method
A badge holding system, a holder for a user identification badge and an associated method are provided in order to provide an alert in response to the identification of one or more objects proximate the holder of the badge holding system. In relation to a holder, the holder includes a housing to receive and hold the user identification badge and a controller carried by the housing. The holder also includes a proximity identification system carried by the housing to identify one or more objects proximate the holder. The proximity identification system also provides information to the controller regarding the one or more objects that have been identified. The holder further includes an alerting output device carried by the housing and responsive to the controller. The alerting output device provides an alert in response to identification of one or more objects proximate the holder.

Shelf rail for an electronic shelf-label system, wherein the shelf rail comprises a first fastening structure for fastening at least one electronic shelf label that can be supplied with power in a contact-free manner, in particular, an electronic shelf-label display, wherein the first fastening structure comprises a wall running between a head area and a foot area of the shelf rail with a wall front side and a wall back side, which is used to define a shelf-label plane with its wall front side for the positioning of the at least one shelf label along the wall, and wherein the shelf rail on the wall back side comprises at least one second fastening structure, which is tubular or channel-shaped in particular, for attaching at least one conductor loop on a conductor-loop plane, wherein the conductor-loop plane is aligned parallel to the shelf-label plane and runs at the defined first distance from the shelf-label plane, and wherein the shelf rail comprises a third fastening structure for fastening a conductive structure, in particular, a planar structure, at a defined second distance from the conductor-loop plane.
ACTIVE ELECTRONIC SHELF LABEL
Disclosed in the present disclosure is an active electronic shelf label, including: a shelf label body, a guide rail, a guide rail positive power supply line, a guide rail negative power supply line, a shelf label positive elastic sheet, and a shelf label negative elastic sheet. The shelf label body is connected to the guide rail and movable along the guide rail. The guide rail positive power supply line and the guide rail negative power supply line are respectively provided along the guide rail. A first contact point of the shelf label positive elastic sheet is electrically coupled to a power input terminal of the shelf label body. A first contact point of the shelf label negative elastic sheet is electrically coupled to a power output terminal of the shelf label body. A second contact point of the shelf label positive elastic sheet is electrically coupled to the guide rail positive power supply line by contact, and a second contact point of the shelf label negative elastic sheet is electrically coupled to the shelf label negative elastic sheet by contact. The present disclosure can improve the efficiency of installing and disassembling the electronic shelf label, enables flexible adjustment of the position of the shelf label body on the guide rail according to actual needs, and is simple in structure, light in weight, and easy to maintain.

In one embodiment, a luggage article (100) is disclosed. The luggage article (100) includes a shell (102) with forming an internal storage volume (166). A recess (140) is formed in the shell (102) and includes a base wall (152) that defines a substantially planar surface (142), and a first peripheral wall (144) that at least partially surrounds the base wall (152) and forms a peripheral shape (146) in the shell (102). The luggage article (100) includes an identification tag assembly (112) including: a display body (122) defining a second peripheral shape (150) and configured to receive an information element (128) configured to display information (164), and a first attachment element (130); a second attachment element (132) coupled to the shell (102) proximate to the recess (140). The first attachment element (130) and the second attachment element (132) together releasably secure the display body (122) to the shell (102) in the recess (140).

The invention relates to a system (10) for powering display devices (11) for displaying goods-related information, comprising an elongate base body (12) and at least one closure device (14). The main part (12) has a channel (16) for receiving the display devices (11), and the main part (12) has two end portions (18). Each end portion (18) has one of two channel (16) end portions (20) in which the display devices (11) can be received. The system (10) has at least two current conductors (21, 22) which are arranged in the channel (16), and a power supply contact (28) of each display device (11) can be contacted with a respective current conductors (21, 22) by receiving the display devices (11) in the channel (16). By connecting the closure device (14) to the end portion (18) of the main part (12), a respective supply line (32, 34) of the closure device (14) can be contacted with the current conductors (21, 22). The invention also relates to a goods presentation system and to a method.
Electronic shelf label system
An electronic shelf label system includes a powered rail for holding electronic shelf labels. The front side of the rail includes a recess that is physically configured to receive a protrusion at the upper rear side of the shelf label. The shelf label further comprises a lower hook member for engaging with a lower edge of the rail. The rail may comprise two conductors for providing the labels with power and data for display on the label. Data and power may be provided via a controller and power module connected to the back of the rail.

Provided is a method of displaying price tag information applied to a price tag generating apparatus in a shelf system which includes a shelf and at least one display screen arranged on the shelf. The method includes: acquiring an image of a commodity placed on the shelf; determining price tag related information based on the image of the commodity, wherein the price tag related information comprises price tag information of the commodity; and sending the price tag related information to a target display screen, which is a display screen for displaying the price tag information in the at least one display screen, and the price tag related information being configured to allow the target display screen to display the price tag information.
INDICIA AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPONENTS
Indicia elements are added to telecommunications components to identify the source of the telecommunications component. Indicia elements can include at least one of a logo, a specific color (e.g. a color different from a non-indicative base color of the telecommunications component), text information, a barcode, a QR code, and a RFID tag. The indicia elements can aid in identifying or tracing network connections, identifying types of connectors and/or cables, labeling the network connections, and identifying a network operator in a multi-network environment.
