Articulating sign cover clamp
A portable clamping device that improves the Prior Art of safely securing materials covering the face of a mounted sign to hide advertised information. It relates primarily to traffic control operations in the Transportation Engineering industry, especially during road construction and maintenance operations. It includes two expandable hooks that straddle the edge of a sign, and one flat bar placed over the material on the front surface, such that when the hooks are clamped to the rear surface of the sign, the bar reacts by gripping the front. Hooks can swivel and slide along the full length of the bar, which allows the device to articulate around the corners and edges of planar signs of any shape. Hook operations may be manual or electronic. The device is safe and easy to use, non-destructive to signs, resistant to the elements, and cost effective.
MULTI-POSITION MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR WALL PANELS AND HANGINGS
A multi-position mounting system is provided for securing a wall panel or hanging to a vertical wall, the wall panel or hanging having a front surface facing away from the wall, a back surface opposite the front, and one or more side surfaces connecting the front and back surfaces. In one embodiment, the multi-position mounting system includes a notch disposed in the back surface of the wall panel, the notch having at least three edges, each edge defining a separate sidewall surface. The notch is configured to secure to a bracket affixed to the vertical wall, the bracket configured to separately mate with each sidewall surface of the notch, wherein mating the bracket with an adjacent sidewall surface of the notch slightly rotates the wall panel with respect to the vertical wall.
HISTORICAL MARKER REPAIR COMPONENTS AND METHODS
A repair component for historical markers, and the like, comprises a metal casting including an upper channel dimensioned to receive the lower bottom portion of the original plaque, and a lower collar dimensioned to fit onto the existing post. The plaque may be fastened, welded, glued or otherwise secured within the channel of the repair component. Alternatively, the upper groove of the repair component may include a moveable member forming a jaw that clamps onto the lower edge of the existing plaque. The collar may also be fastened, welded, glued or otherwise secured to the upper end of the pole. Also disclosed is a method of repairing a marker including a plaque with a lower bottom portion that has broken away from a collar fitted to a post.

Protective guard for a sign
A guard system for a street sign providing a protective barrier to an edge of the sign. The guard system including at least one elongate member having a top end portion, a bottom end portion, a length and a width. At least one bracket member extends outwardly from the elongate member having a first end fixed to the elongate member and a second end configured to fixedly engage with an outer peripheral edge portion of the sign. When fixedly engaged, the second end of the bracket member is fixedly engaged to an outer peripheral edge portion of the sign whereby the elongate member is spaced apart from the outer peripheral edge of the sign and is aligned with the outer peripheral edge of the sign as a protective barrier to the outer peripheral edge of the sign.
Sign post and sign system
A sign post and sign system comprising a base may be connected to a vertical post. A four-way connector may attach horizontal stems to the vertical post. Rotatable or non-rotatable fasteners may be positioned on the upper or lower side of the horizontal stems. Rotatable fasteners may be connected to the horizontal stems to support rotation of a connected sign in an axis parallel to the horizontal stems. A one piece or two-piece cap design may be connected to the four-way connector. Lights, wiring, batteries, and/or a solar panel may be integrated into the sign system. A sign may be attached between the vertical post and the horizontal post to support rotation of the connected sign in an axis parallel to the vertical post. Rotatable fasteners may be connected to the horizontal stems to support rotation of a connected sign in an axis parallel to the horizontal stems.
