The invention provides method and apparatus for raising a display poster to an overhead position for viewing by persons passing below. The apparatus comprises a motorized winder remotely controllable to cause take-up and paying out of first and second separate cords distally connected to an overhead supporting structure. The motorized winder is contained within a housing having a lower receiving space into which an edge adjacent portion of a poster to be displayed in a retailing or similar environment is receivable for clamping in place against removal by clamping means preferably comprising an elongate roller. The apparatus contains a formation for inhibiting rolling of the roller when in entrapment position.

A magnet installing and removing apparatus comprises a base forming a channel; and at least two magnet heads mounted to the base in the channel, each of the at least two magnet heads configured to receive respective magnet anchors; and wherein the magnet heads are selectively movable along the base in the channel. The base may be an extruded rail, e.g. of a U-shape with upper ends turned in. The apparatus may couple to an extension pole.

The channel includes high friction strips on a neck for engagement by a pole end gripper on a pole for mounting the channel on the ceiling while the user stands on the floor. End caps may be mounted on the channel. Mounting plates may be affixed to the ceiling or wall for magnetically engaging the channel. A wall mount channel includes an offset neck for gripping by the pole end gripper. A magnetic clip including a string for suspending a display may be mounted with the pole end gripper. An embodiment of the channel includes hooks for engaging an open girder ceiling, horizontal member, or other structure.

Split signage assembly

A signage assembly is provided comprising a frame structure including a top disc, a bottom disc, and a plurality of elongated disc supports extending between the top and bottom discs. Each of the top and bottom discs include first and second disc halves connected at disc-half edges to form the top and bottom discs as respective disc assemblies. A hinge connection pivotally connects each of the disc supports to at least one of the top and bottom discs. A flexible placard structure is attached to the frame structure surrounding an outer periphery of the top and bottom discs.
