The invention relates to a magnetic poster holder unit, where a v- or u-shaped magnet clip in the bottom is provided with a magnet. According to the invention, the magnet clip is in the top, on the outer side, designed with notches, whereby the magnet clip can be clicked into a hanging profile, which has an inner shape, which corresponds to the outer shape of the magnet clip, such that the magnet clip's notch by insertion in the hanging profile can provide a mechanical locking and thereby fixation between the magnet clip and the hanging profile. The invention also relates to a method for detachable hanging of poster of flat, flexible length material along a poster edge, where the poster edge includes magnetic items and where the poster edge's magnetic items are brought to contact against a magnet clip containing corresponding magnetic items.

A device configured for securing objects such as ornamental light strings to surfaces. The device includes a first clip with a bottom section, a first leg and a second leg, the first leg and second leg being perpendicular to the bottom section. The first clip comprises a pole adaptor attachment portion located on a bottom surface of the bottom section. A second clip including an arm projecting away from the pole adaptor attachment portion, such that at a distal end of the arm, a leg portion projects at an acute angle to a direction of the arm, and in a same direction of a distal end of the first leg. The leg portion is displaced in a space by a length of the arm, such that the leg portion projects at an acute angle to the pole adaptor attachment section.

A system and method for mounting a display or sign to a ceiling, wall or window frame includes an elongated channel having magnets that are affixed to a ceiling grid and mounting hooks or the like to suspend the sign or display from the channel. The channel includes high friction strips on a neck for engagement by a pole end gripper on a pole for mounting the channel on the ceiling while the user stands on the floor. End caps may be mounted on the channel. Mounting plates may be affixed to the ceiling or wall for magnetically engaging the channel. A wall mount channel includes an offset neck for gripping by the pole end gripper. A magnetic clip including a string for suspending a display may be mounted with the pole end gripper. An embodiment of the channel includes hooks for engaging an open girder ceiling.

An apparatus for hanging and manipulating items that are suspended from a ceiling or wall. The apparatus includes hanging structures to suspend items from a wall or ceiling, a remotely controlled motorized take up reel system to raise and lower the items by way of suspension lines so the items can either be positioned, replaced, repaired or displayed, and a leveling system. The system can be safely operated without a person having to move a ladder in place and go up the ladder to work with the suspension item.

A method for making a modular realty signpost comprises providing a first vertical sign component made from extruded vinyl tubing and a second horizontal sign component made from extruded vinyl tubing, said horizontal component sized and designed to intersect and connect within the vertical component. The method makes angled cuts into one end of the vertical component and at least one end of the horizontal component, heats the angled cuts and then folds them together to form tapered tips to at least one end of said components.

The invention relates to a ceiling light for attaching to a room ceiling and positioning a light (2) or other electrical device at any point within a defined circular area on the room ceiling. To this end, the light (2) is attached to a roller carriage (3) displaceably inserted in a hollow profile (4) rotatable about the center axis thereof. The hollow profile (4) is attached to the room ceiling by means of a center axial bearing (10) in which a rotatable power transmission system is integrated and is supported against the room ceiling at both ends by support rollers (19). Tilting motions are thereby prevented. The power supply is provided by means of the centered power source typical of room ceilings, in that the power is transmitted by means of the rotatable power transmission system to a power cable (14) routed within the displacing device, fed to the roller carriage (3) by means of said cable, and connected to the light there.

A system and method for magnetically mounting a sign flush at a ceiling, window, or wall location that includes modular panels that are removably connected to one another to form a sign board stack. The sign board stack is mounted or unmounted from a prominent display location using a pole end gripper without the need for a ladder. The sign stack extends from a mounting strip having a holder at which the sign stack is fastened, and the gripper engages the mounting strip at an offset grasping portion disposed laterally of the holder. The panels have flanges at the top edge to fit into the holder of the mounting strip and clips at the bottom edge to hold a flange of a panel connected below it. Channel tracks are formed on the panels to hold strip sign elements, some of which may include accordion or spiral bound numbers or messages.

A hanging-strap information display device is a device provided in a hanging strap (10) including a hanging band part (11) hung in a movable body in a swingable manner and a hold part (12) provided on the hanging band part, and includes a display unit (14) disposed at a position that squarely faces a passenger that grips the hold part (12), a support shaft part (13) that supports the display unit (14) on the hanging band part (11) in a rotatable manner about a rotation center line, a weight (15) provided on a lower side in a vertical direction than the rotation center line of the display unit (14), and resonance reduction members (16, 17) that is connected between the hanging band part (11) and a position away from the rotation center line of the display unit (14) and reduces resonance of the display unit (14).

A system can combine edgelit signage and edgelit illumination. The system can comprise two edgelit lightguide sections, one supporting signage and another supporting illumination. The lightguide section that supports signage can comprise a backlit face inscribed with text or graphics conveying an emergency message. The lightguide section that supports illumination can comprise a face patterned with features that release light, for example for emergency illumination. The two lightguide sections can be two areas of a single edgelit lightguide. The two lightguide sections can alternatively formed from two separate lightguides. In some examples, one or more illumination lightguide sections can be configured as a trim plate.

A mounting clip and a system for mounting a vertical panel from a support member suspended from a ceiling. The mounting clip has a panel mounting section, a support member receiving portion, and a movable mounting section. The support member receiving portion extends from the panel mounting section. The movable mounting section can be rotated relative to the support member receiving portion to secure the mounting clip to the support member.
