Information display device
An information display device attachable to a structure includes a plate-shaped body, a display panel, and a surface member. The plate-shaped body is a part of the structure and has a first attaching surface, a second attaching surface opposite to the first attaching surface, and a side portion that connects the first attaching surface and the second attaching surface to each other. The display panel is attached to the plate-shaped body and is configured to display information on a display surface. The display surface is disposed from the first attaching surface to the second attaching surface. The surface member is disposed on a display surface side of the display panel to cover the display panel such that only the information displayed on the display surface of the display panel is visible through the surface member when the display panel is turned on.
DISPLAY DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a display device. A display device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a housing; a plurality of display elements disposed in the housing in a first mode and configured to project out of the housing in a second mode; and a driving device configured to fold the plurality of display elements in a first axial direction in the first mode, and unfold at least a portion of the plurality of display elements in the second mode to form a polyhedral display. Accordingly, it is possible to implement a display device that is folded or unfolded by using the plurality of elements.
Image display device
An image display device according to the present disclosure includes: a display panel; a frame unit; and a driver. The display panel is switchable between an image display mode in which an image is displayed and a transmissive mode in which the display panel is in a transmissive state where an object behind the display panel is visible in a front view of the display panel. The frame unit includes an upper plate disposed along an upper edge of the display panel and protruding rearward. The driver includes a circuit unit which drives the display panel. The driver is supported by the upper plate on a bottom side of the upper plate.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device is disclosed. The display device of the present disclosure comprises: an elongated roller; a flexible display panel that is wound on or unwound from the roller; a module cover located at the rear of the display panel; a foldable link that is adjacent to the rear surface of the module cover and is folded or unfolded in the upward and downward directions by being pivoted about a pivot axis parallel to the forward and backward directions; and a sheet that is coupled to the foldable link between the module cover and the foldable link, wherein the coefficient of friction of the sheet is lower than the coefficient of friction of the foldable link.
Display device
A display device is disclosed. The display device of the present invention comprises: a display panel; an inner plate positioned at the rear of the display panel; a module cover positioned at the rear of the inner plate; electronic components mounted on the rear of the module cover; and a back cover positioned at the rear of the module cover and covering the electronic components, wherein the module cover may include a body portion positioned at the rear of the inner plate, and an extension portion extending from the body portion so as to cover at least a portion of a side surface of the display panel and the inner plate.

The present disclosure provides a display panel, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device. The display panel includes: a backlight module configured to provide a light source; a cover plate on a light-emitting side of the backlight module; a display module between the cover plate and the backlight module; and a photosensitive device configured to sense ambient light. The photosensitive device is between the cover plate and the backlight module, and at an edge of the cover plate.

A display device includes a display panel; a back cover supporting the display panel on a rear surface of the display panel; a roller disposed on a rear surface of the back cover, wherein the display panel and the back cover are wound around or unwound from the roller; a flexible film electrically connected to a pad area of the display panel; and a sealing layer disposed to cover an end of the flexible film. At least some of elements of the display panel including a substrate may be extended beyond the sealing layer. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent cracks in the display panel due to the pressing by the cover plate and the overflow of the sealant, thereby solving the issues of driving failure and reliability of the display panel.
FOLDABLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A foldable display device is provided, including a flexible display screen, a folding mechanism, and a winding mechanism. The folding mechanism has an upper support surface and a lower support surface, and includes a first support and a second support. A first end of the flexible display screen encloses one end of the folding mechanism and is coupled to the first support, and a second end of the flexible display screen encloses the other end of the folding mechanism and is coupled to the second support.

Provided is a display apparatus including: a display module; a housing accommodating the display module; a transparent substrate disposed on a front surface of the display module and installed in the housing; a transmitter disposed on one end of the transparent substrate and generating light; a receiver installed on the other end of the transparent substrate to face the transmitter in a first direction, and receiving the light emitted from the transmitter; and a receiver installed on the other end of the transparent substrate to face the transmitter in a first direction, and receiving the light emitted from the transmitter; and a control unit driving the display module, and determining whether the transparent substrate is damaged based on a signal received from the receiver.

A display apparatus comprises: a display panel to control emission or transmission of light to display an image; a support comprising a surface on which the display panel is placed; and a holding member that is adhered onto the surface of the support and engages with an edge of the display panel to hold the display panel at a given position of the surface, wherein the display panel has an opposite surface of a display surface of the display panel, the opposite surface being directed to the support; the holding member comprises a front surface portion formed using a light-transmitting material to cover the display surface, the front surface portion being plate shaped, and a frame portion comprising a rod-shaped member provided in such a manner as to be protruded from a first surface of the front surface portion and to be along an edge of the front surface portion, the first surface being directed to the display surface; and the front surface portion comprises a first functional layer on the first surface or on a second surface opposite the first surface, the first functional layer having a given function related to propagation of light.
