ELECTRONIC LICENSE PLATE FRAME FOR DISPLAYING STATIC AND NON-STATIC INFORMATION
Systems, apparatus and methods related to electronic vehicle registration and tag displays, specifically a vehicle license plate frame containing multiple low power e-paper type displays configured to replace the stickers used for vehicle registration and parking authorizations as well as provide indication of purchased parking increments and/or allow for display of advertisement or other messages. The system may also allow the display of driver or vehicle specific information such as the user's driver's license number or insurance at the request of a third party authorities such as the police. The system allows for use of a mobile computing device having software connected with the internet to access a server allowing for communication with various registrations authorities including the DMV, municipal parking authorities, and private parking authorities. Displays may be overwritten and changed depending on the location of the vehicle and need to provide display of certain authorizations.
Highly reflective electrostatic shutter display
A reflective display tile can be used in connection with a static or video display. The tile includes a transparent substrate having a front surface, a rear surface, and a peripheral edge surrounding the front and rear surfaces, an electrostatic shutter array disposed at the front surface of said substrate, a reflective medium disposed at the rear surface of the substrate, and drive electronics disposed rearward of the reflective medium. The shutter array and drive electronics are configured so that the tile is tileable and can be abutted at any of its peripheral edges against identical tiles to form a display with substantially no perceived optical interface between adjacent tiles. Another embodiment includes an opaque substrate such as a circuit board. A further embodiment has a polymeric film coated on one side with a metal film and on another side with ink or blackening material.

Electronic tag and control method thereof, system including electronic tag and control method thereof
The present disclosure generally relates to the field of electronic tagging technology. An electronic tag may include a scanner configured to scan an article identification information associated with one of a plurality of categories of articles; a controller configured to acquire the article identification information from the scanner; a communicator configured to, based on a pairing of the article identification information with an identification information associated with the electronic tag, acquire a product information corresponding to the article identification information; a storage unit configured to store the identification information associated with the electronic tag; and a display screen configured to display the product information corresponding to the article identification information.
Multifunctional utility box with display and vehicle charging station
A system for providing a multifunctional utility box includes a utility box for housing and providing access to utility equipment and an electronic display disposed on a first surface from among one or more external surfaces of the utility box. The utility box is fixed at an outdoor location and the one or more external surfaces enclose an interior cavity containing the utility equipment. The system further includes a wireless router configured to provide a WiFi hotspot centered at the utility box. The system further uses the power provided to utility boxes to power a charging rack for vehicles separately or in combination with the electronic display.
PROGRAMMABLE FILM DISPLAY SYSTEM
In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a system comprising a light source, a transparent programmable film, a lensing system, a memory and an embedded controller. The embedded controller may be coupled to the memory and configured to retrieve a first image from the memory. The embedded controller may be configured to render the first image on the transparent programmable film. Additionally, the embedded controller may be configured to activate a light source, wherein the light source projects light through the transparent programmable film through the lensing system, and creates a visual representation corresponding to the first image on a nearby surface.
Electronic price label and electronic price label system
An electronic price label system and electronic price label include a communicator configured to receive information relating to a product, a display for displaying information relating to a product, and a fastening ring for fastening the electronic price label to a product. The fastening ring is arranged to function as an antenna of the electronic price label, in which fastening ring a loop is formed.
Image representation method, image representation device, and computer readable storage medium
There is provided an image representation method, including: converting a to-be-converted image from a first color space to a second color space; acquiring a target conversion color ratio corresponding to each pixel of the to-be-converted image and including ratios of plural target conversion colors, according to a color ratio allocation table based on the second color space; creating an array corresponding to the pixel according to the target conversion color ratio; calculating an index value corresponding to the pixel according to a position of the pixel in the to-be-converted image, and inputting the index value to the array as a subscript of the array, to acquire an element of the array as a target value corresponding to the pixel; and determining a target conversion color of the pixel according to the target value, to acquire a converted image including the plural target conversion colors.
