Control Device Having Buttons with Metallic Surfaces and Backlit Indicia
A veneer may be configured to be secured to a backlit button of a control device. A plate portion of the veneer may have one or more indicia machined therethrough. The indicia may define an open portion, a floating portion, and one or more ribs that suspend the floating portion. The one or more ribs may be configured to create an optical illusion that conceals the ribs from view relative to a user of the control device. The rib may define an upper surface that is recessed relative to a front surface of the veneer, and may define opposed sides that extend from a base of the rib to the upper surface. The sides may be tapered between the base and the upper surface, such that the upper surface is narrower than the base. The sides and the upper surface of the rib may be unfinished.
DISPLAY DEVICE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND ASSEMBLING METHOD
A display device includes a substrate on which at least one light source is disposed; a display plate disposed to face the substrate; a tubular panel that surrounds and holds a periphery of the substrate and a periphery of the display plate; and a lens disposed between the substrate and the display plate and guides light emitted from the at least one light source; wherein the tubular panel has at least one rib protruding from an inner peripheral surface thereof, and the lens has at least one slide groove in which the at least one rib is movable forward and backward when the lens is assembled into the tubular panel and has at least one claw portion disposed adjacent to the at least one slide groove, and the at least one claw portion is positioned between the at least one rib and the display plate in an assembled state.
MOTOR VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A MOTOR VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
There is described a motor vehicle control device (10) for an interior space of a motor vehicle, comprising a trim (12) and a printed circuit board (34), wherein the trim (12) comprises a control surface (14) on which at least one switching symbol (16) to be actuated is shown, which can be backlit by a light source, wherein the light source is associated to a light duct (22) which leads to the control surface (14), wherein the light emitted by the light source (44, 60) extends along the light duct (22) and backlights the at least one switching symbol (16) to be actuated. Furthermore, there is described a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle control device (10).
Lighting device
A lighting device includes a light guide that propagates incoming light, and a lighting panel including a lighting region. A front side of the lighting panel excluding the lighting region is configured to prevent transmission of light, the light guide is covered by the lighting panel, the lighting device is configured such that the light emitted from the light guide passes through the lighting region of the lighting panel for illumination, and surfaces of the lighting panel surrounding the light guide are white in color.
Illumination module
An illumination module includes a circuit board, a light-emitting element, a light guide plate and a casing. The light-emitting element is installed on the circuit board. The light-emitting element emits a light beam. The light guide plate is installed on the circuit board and located near the light-emitting element. The light beam is guided by the light guide plate. The circuit board, the light-emitting element and the light guide plate are covered by the casing. The casing includes a main body, a pattern part and a receiving recess. The receiving recess is located near the pattern part and exposed to a bottom surface of the main body. The light-emitting element is accommodated within the receiving recess.
