DRIVING MECHANISM AND SELF-PROPELLED WARNING DEVICE USING THE SAME
A self-propelled warning device used for road safety includes a bracket, a warning sign mounted to an upper side of the bracket, and at least one driving mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a supporting leg, a driving unit, and a wheel. The supporting leg includes a receiving portion, the receiving portion defines an accommodating space.
The driving unit is accommodated in the accommodating space. The wheel is mounted on the receiving portion and is drivingly connected to the driving unit. The wheel is driven by friction of the driving unit. The driving mechanism is also disclosed.
FOLDABLE DRIVING MECHANISM AND WARNING DEVICE USING THE SAME
A traffic warning device includes a reflective warning plate and a foldable driving mechanism. The foldable driving mechanism includes a supporting bracket; a warning sign mounted to an upper side of the supporting bracket, and a plurality of walking or motion units mounted to a lower side of the supporting bracket. Each walking unit includes a supporting leg, a wheel rotatably connected to an end of the supporting leg, and a fastening unit. The other end of the supporting leg is rotatably connected to the supporting bracket. The supporting leg is rotatable between a folded position and a deployed position. The foldable driving mechanism is also disclosed.
Durable LED Light Engine for Airfield Guidance Sign
An airfield guidance sign is provided. The airfield guidance sign has a housing with a display side. At least a portion of the display side is able to transmit light. For example, the display side may have a portion which is transparent or translucent. The airfield guidance sign includes an LED printed wiring assembly (PWA) mounted within the housing. The LED PWA has one or more LEDs configured to provide illumination to the display side of the housing. The illumination may be direct or indirect. The LEDs of the LED PWA are coated in an epoxy. For example, the LEDs may be coated in an optically-clear epoxy. In some embodiments, the entire LED PWA is coated in an epoxy. In some embodiments, portions of the LED PWA are coated in an epoxy that is not optically clear.

Foldable warning device having a plurality of indications
A foldable warning device includes a number of illuminated display elements attached to one another to move along a flat plane, a number of permanent magnets for the attachment of the display to a vehicle, and a support illuminated element that can be moved from a position extending along the flat plane to a position extending away from the flat plane to support the device on a road surface, Alternately, the device may be attached to extend outward from a window on either side of the vehicle.
Traffic Sign Mountable Light Panels
A system for detecting a vehicle traveling a designated direction of travel on a roadway includes a sign having a front surface and a back surface. The sign may include a sign boundary marker that is different in color than a color of the front surface. One or more light panels such as an LED light panel is affixed to the sign such as to its front surface. The light emitting elements may lie below a top plane of the light panel. A color of a top surface of the light panel matches a color on the front surface of the sign over which the light panel is placed. A vehicle motion detector or proximity detector is oriented in a direction and has a detection zone for detecting moving vehicles in proximity to the sign. The detector illuminates the lights of the light panel after detecting a moving vehicle in proximity to the sign.
Light Diffusing Module
Disclosed is a light diffusing panel, a light diffusing module and a traffic sign incorporating the light diffusing module. A front face of the panel has a plurality of linear disruptions, which disruptions redirect the light to emit from the front face of the panel in a broad diffuse emission. The plurality of linear disruptions extends as a series of parallel lines across the front face. A second plurality of linear disruptions extends as a series of parallel lines across the front face, with the first plurality of linear disruptions forming a grid across the front face. The light diffusing module adds to the light diffusing panel, a reflective sheet adjacent to the rear face of the light diffusing panel and light sources along an edge of the light diffusing panel. The traffic sign adds a message panel to the light diffusing module as well as a power supply.

A programmable sign device includes a personal electronic device that is in wireless communication with an extrinsic communication network. A plurality of sign units is each strategically positionable at or around a predetermined location to be visible to individuals that are approaching the predetermined location. Each of the plurality of sign units displays a customizable message to visually communicate a notification to the individuals pertaining to the predetermined location. A plurality of communication units is each attached to a respective one of the plurality of sign units. Each of the plurality of communication units is in wireless communication with the extrinsic communication network thereby and each of the plurality of communication units receives information from the personal electronic device to facilitate an authorized user to program the pertinent information about the location into the plurality of sign units.

Smart Environmental Advertising System
For the purpose of advertising for persons, governments, a smart camera or motion sensor detector can be installed with or/alongside of the LED/LCD/Plasma/waterproof TV that is located/installed on the traffic light posts beam, or all can be installed on a separate post and beam that is located/installed parallel to the traffic light, where the load bearing of traffic light posts and beams are not strong enough to communicate with the water-proof TV. The motion sensor can detect motions of pedestrians, cars, motorcycles, bicycles and turn on the TV and show advertisement when there is passing by drivers and people passing by when the traffic light is red and turnoff when the light is green or there is no motion for 10 minutes/minutes and time can be adjusted, to save energy. The advertising of each Plasma/LED/LCD/out door TV can be managed and programmed from faraway or anywhere remotely via the internet and a modem.
