VEHICLE COLOR-LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
There is described a vehicle color-lighting control system. The system comprises at least one sidewall (101) having an electrically-controllable coloring mechanism (106) embedded therein and arranged for coloring at least a portion of the at least one sidewall with at least one first color; a lighting sub-system (110) comprising at least one light source (112) mounted within the vehicle to illuminate an interior of the vehicle with at least one second color in a first state and with at least one third color in a second state; and a controller coupled to the coloring mechanism and the lighting sub-system and configured for operating the coloring mechanism to color the at least one portion of the at least one sidewall with the at least one first color and concurrently illuminate the interior of the vehicle with the at least one second color.
Flight indication apparatuses, systems and associated methods
Systems, apparatuses and methods for indicating a moveable device such as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are disclosed herein. The present technology provides an illumination system having a light source and an illuminating component. In a representative embodiment, the light source is carried by a UAV and positioned to emit a light ray in a first direction. The illuminating component is carried by a propeller of the UAV. The illuminating component can include a light entrance portion, a light transmission portion, and a light exit portion. The light entrance portion is positioned to receive the light ray from the light source, the light transmission portion is positioned to transmit the light ray to the light exit portion, and the light exit portion is positioned to direct the light ray in a second direction so as to form a visual indication corresponding to the UAV.

The photovoltaic element is connected to the energy store and is configured to charge the energy store. The energy store is connected to the display element and the controller for supplying energy. The controller is configured to control the display element and the information displayed on the display surface. The photovoltaic element is a transparent solar cell extending across the entire display surface of the display element. The photovoltaic element is a first layer on the display element.

An illumination system for illuminating outer aircraft components of an airborne vehicle, such as an aircraft, includes a light projection system configured to project visual imagery to an outer surface of the airborne vehicle, and a projection controller having a light control processor configured to control the operation of the light projection system on the basis of at least one of operational flight status of the airborne vehicle, geographical location of the airborne vehicle and configuration data of movable surfaces of the airborne vehicle or on ambient light measurement.

An illumination or display element includes a hollow profile (1) which has a recess extending in a longitudinal direction for receiving a plurality of lighting means (2) and the electric lines thereof. The hollow profile includes two parallel, spaced apart limbs connected by a base body, and the recess is located between the limbs. The recess of the hollow profile is closed by a foil extending at least over a part of an outer lateral surface of the limbs. The foil may completely surround the hollow profile. The lighting means may face the base body of the hollow profile, provided that at least the base body of the hollow profile is transparent or translucent.

Hybrid Kite With Integrated Wind Turbine Generator
A hybrid kite having an integrated compartment that is inflated with a gas which is lighter than air; the kite is further equipped with a wind turbine generator for the purpose of generating electricity at a high altitude, which can be utilized by the kite or be relayed to the ground for practical use. The kite is anchored in the air as a result of an upward pulling/push force (drag) created by wind, and a combination of buoyancy, to keep the generator/s aloft for an extended period of time beyond 24 hours.
The kite may also serve the purpose of an antenna, to send and receive wireless communication from a base. Moreover the kite can serve as a surveillance vantage point, when equipped with a camera, video camera, microphone and lights, to give an aerial vantage point of a given location.
Numerous other applications for the invention will be realized in conjunction with the primary purpose of providing electricity directly from the generator, which is tethered to the kite, for domestic, industrial & nautical use.
