A system and a method for displaying a light show is disclosed herein. The system comprises a plurality of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) having a screening medium reservoir attached thereto. A Ground Control Station (GCS) is communicatively coupled to the plurality of UAVs, wherein the communication between the GCS and the plurality of UAVs is bidirectional communication, and wherein the GCS is configured to control the plurality of UAVs in accordance with at least one flight program. A light controller is communicatively coupled to the GCS and configured to control at least one light source in accordance with the at least one flight program.

The present invention relates to a floating electronic display board using an aerial vehicle, and more particularly, to a floating electronic display board using an aerial vehicle, including: at least two aerial vehicles capable of operating in an unmanned manner, in which a communication module, a GPS, and a power supply device are mounted, configured to interwork with a user terminal through the communication module, and capable of moving up, down, left, and right in midair according to manipulation of a user through the user terminal or a preset flight path; a power supply unit installed in one region of the aerial vehicle to apply a power to the power supply device; and a display unit coupled to a lower portion of the aerial vehicle, electrically connected to the communication module of the aerial vehicle, and configured to receive an electric power from the power supply device to output content.
