A gas light source is disclosed where gas is contained within a graphene cylinder or graphene capsule. Electrodes extending into the graphene cylinder or capsule are stimulated by an electric voltage to emit light. Eight graphene cylinder light sources can be arranged into a seven-segment alpha-numeric display having a decimal point. Different gases produce different colors of light. Three gas light sources having different gases can be arranged into an RGB pixel. An array of RGB pixels can be formed into a display.

The method further includes sizing the selected 3-D model of the frame of the pair of smart glasses for placement on the face image of person based on the lens measurements of the person, and determining a gazability of the virtual display in the 3-D model of the pair of smart glasses placed on the face image of the person.

A temperature-sensitive element includes a resistor to generate a current dependent on temperature. First and second switches alternately connect the temperature-sensitive element and another resistor to the input terminal of the current integrating modulator. The temperature sensor arrangement can be combined with an ambient light sensor sharing the current integrating modulator.

The determining circuit selects a voltage at the data line that is coupled to said one of the LED units, and generates, based on a difference between a first sample voltage that is related to at least the selected voltage at a first time point and a second sample voltage that is related to at least the selected voltage at a second time point, a determination output indicating whether said one of the LED units is determined to have failed.

Sudden changes in the electric potential of a source electrode or a drain electrode of a transistor due to electric charge that builds up in a pixel electrode is relieved by disposing the protecting means between the pixel electrode of the light-emitting element and the source electrode or the drain electrode of the transistor. Deterioration or destruction of the semiconductor element due to electrostatic discharge damage is thus prevented.
