The color value of each pixel is adjusted using the target brightness value, the brightness can be adjusted without lighting and blanking the screen and independently of the hardware; and error diffusion processing is performed on the adjusted color value to avoid the problems of color bands and color blocks caused by adjusting the color value.

The system may determine, based on the pixel color, driving signals for light-emitting elements associated with the pixel location.
