A first repair wire can electrically connect the repair site to the first wire, a second repair wire can electrically connect the repair site to the second wire, and one of these wires can be cut.

The control unit performs control so that the switching unit is brought in the non-conduction state after the signal voltage is written into the control terminal, and controls a potential of the control terminal in synchronization with the control of the switching unit.

Disclosed is an array substrate. The array substrate includes a substrate and a pixel unit array. A first side of each row of pixel units is provided with a first scanning line corresponding to the row of pixel units, and the first scanning line is connected to switch elements of first-type pixel units in the row of pixel units; and the second side of each row of pixel units is provided with a second scanning line corresponding to the row of pixel units, and the second scanning line is connected to switch elements of second-type pixel units in the row of pixel units. An active layer structure of the switch element of a second-type pixel unit in an i.sup.th row of pixel units has a common region with an active layer structure of the switch element of a first-type pixel unit in an (i+1).sup.th row of pixel units.

Display panel and display device

A display panel and a display device are provided. The display panel includes: a substrate, a plurality of pixel units, a functional signal line, and a first conductive structure. The substrate includes a display area and a peripheral area on at least one side of the display area, the plurality of pixel units are in the display area, each pixel unit includes a light-emitting unit and a pixel circuit structure for providing a driving current to the light-emitting unit, and the light-emitting unit is an electroluminescent element. The functional signal line is connected with the pixel circuit structure of each pixel unit and provides a common voltage signal for the pixel circuit structure. The first conductive structure is connected in parallel with the functional signal line and is located at a layer different from that of the functional signal line.

Dynamic reference voltage control in display devices

In some examples, an electronic device comprises a voltage supply circuit to provide a reference voltage usable to discharge pixels in a display device; and a scaler circuit coupled to the voltage supply circuit. The scaler circuit is to buffer first and second frames and dynamically control the voltage supply circuit to modify the reference voltage based on a frequency of the first frame differing from a frequency of the second frame.

A display system comprising a plurality of display controller circuits controlling a like number of independent segments of pixel drive circuits of a backplane. Each pixel drive circuit comprises a memory element and associated pixel drive circuitry. The segments of the backplane may be organized vertically. The word line for the memory cells of a first segment of pixel drive circuits passes underneath a second segment of pixel drive circuits without directly interacting with the pixel drive circuits of the second segment in order to reach the pixel drive circuits of the first segment. The plurality of display controller circuits operate asynchronously but are kept at the same frame rate by an external signal such as Vsync.

Dual-memory driving of an electronic display

A display system may include a memory external to a pixel that stores a first digital data value, a memory internal to the pixel that stores a second digital data signal, where a combination of the first digital data signal and the second digital data signal may indicate a target gray level assigned to the pixel for a particular image frame. The pixel may be driven for a first duration of time according to the first digital data signal and for a second duration of time according to the second digital data signal.
