SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AIRCRAFT LATERAL NAVIGATION CAPABILITY FEEDBACK TO A PILOT
A system method for providing aircraft lateral navigation system capability feedback to a pilot includes determining, in a processor, when a flight plan has been received that includes a flight leg that needs to be captured by the aircraft. A determination is made, in the processor, when an armed signal has been received, where the armed signal indicating that an aircraft autopilot navigation mode (NAV) has been armed. The processor is used to command a display device to render the flight leg using a first display paradigm when the armed signal has not been received, and to render the flight leg using a second display paradigm when the armed signal has been received.
Method of operating a mobile device
A method of operating a mobile device, the method comprising: identifying a first image parameter for an image to be displayed on a display of the mobile device; determining a distance between the display of the mobile device and a user of the mobile device; modifying the first image parameter dependent upon the distance between the display of the mobile device and the user of the mobile device; and displaying an image on the display using the modified first image parameter.

LIGHT FIELD DISPLAY CONTROL METHODS AND APPARATUS, AND LIGHT FIELD DISPLAY DEVICES
Embodiments of the present application disclose various light field display control methods and apparatus, and various light field display devices. One of the methods comprises: determining a first display region of a display of a light field display device according to target vision adjustment range information; adjusting display pixel density distribution of the display, to cause that display pixel density distribution of the first display region in the display after the adjustment is different from that of another display region of the display; performing sampling processing on a first light field image according to location information of display pixels of the display after the adjustment, the first light field image being corresponding to vision information in the target vision adjustment range and related to a source image; and displaying, by the light field display device after the adjustment, the first light field image undergone the sampling processing. The embodiments of the present application improve a vision correction precision of viewing an image by naked eyes for users having different vision information in a target vision adjustment range.

Display with a resolution enhanced region
An optical assembly includes a first reflector and a second reflector. The first reflector is positioned to receive first light having a first polarization and provide the first light toward a first direction, and receive second light having the first polarization and provide the second light toward a second direction. The second reflector is positioned to receive the second light from the first reflector and reflect the second light back toward the first reflector. The first reflector receives light having a second polarization, having been reflected by the second reflector, and provide the light toward the first direction so that a first image corresponding to the first light and a second image corresponding to the second light are projected on a common image plane where at least a portion of the second image is located between two portions of the first image.
Methods and system for artifically and dynamically limiting the display resolution of an application
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to provide a method and system for automatically applying artificial limits to display resolutions in a computing system to improve performance. Embodiments are described herein that automatically limits the display resolution of an application executing in a discrete graphics processing unit operating from configurations with limited means of data transfer to the system memory. By automatically limiting the resolution in certain detected circumstances, the rate of generated graphics data may be dramatically increased. Another embodiment is also provided which allows for the automatic detection of an application's initialization and pro-actively limiting the user-selectable resolutions in which the output of the application may be displayed in to a maximum resolution calculated for optimal performance. The application's termination is also detected, whereupon a comprehensive list of supported resolutions becomes available.
VIRTUAL REALITY DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD
A virtual reality (VR) display device and a display method are provided, so as to improve the problems that an existing VR display device has higher power consumption and waste of resources. The display method for the VR display device includes: in response to a first operation of a user, initiating a smartview mode (S101); controlling display in a first display region of a screen of the VR display device to be at first definition; controlling display in a second display region, other than the first display region, of the screen of the VR display device to be at second definition (S102); and supplementing and displaying black for part of pixels in the second display region (S103); the first display region is a region watched by human eyes; and the first definition is greater than the second definition.
