Molded Cooling and Heating Face Mask
A molded face mask for treating a user's face, the molded face mask comprising a rigid, inflexible polycaprolactone body molded to the user's face, the body comprising: i) two opposed, slightly tapered end portions; ii) a generally straight lower edge; and iii) an upper edge having a concave portion disposed approximately half-way along a length of the upper edge. A kit for providing therapeutic relief and reducing redness and bumps associated with facial shaving.
BIOLOGICAL STIMULATION TOOL
The present invention provides a biological stimulation device that can stimulate muscles to recover tension with no adverse effects on living bodies. Since the biological stimulation device of the present invention includes a stimulation device main body, a heating part integrally provided at a distal end surface of the stimulation device main body, and an electrode part integrally provided at the distal end surface of the stimulation device main body, firing is effectively generated in activated nerve cells. Further, the muscles are stimulated to provide tension to the muscles, so that it is possible to effectively reduce or remove wrinkles and the like appearing on the skin.
HOT/COLD TEMPERATURE TREATMENT APPARATUS
Packs for providing heat or cold to a body part or parts. In some embodiments, packs comprising an outer flexible shell or skin housing or carrying a plurality of beads mixed in combination with a liquid or gel. In some embodiments, packs, which can be (or are) configured into various shapes, which contain heads in combination with a liquid or gel solution, which can be heated or cooled for application, thereafter, to a body part for providing hot or cold therapy to the body part.
Triggering the Autonomic Nervous System
A device and method is provided for treating a person by providing controlled stimulation of a branch of the trigeminal nerve of the person to induce a dive reflex response in the person. A device for providing this treatment includes a stimulus component controllably operable to stimulate a branch of the trigeminal nerve of a person. The stimulus component can be a Peltier device configured to reduce the temperature of the person's face in proximity to a branch of the trigeminal nerve to induce the dive reflex. A controller controls activation of the stimulus component when it is desirable to induce the dive reflex response in the person. The controller can sense physiological and ambient conditions and can activate and deactivate the stimulus component in response to a condition falling within or outside a threshold value.
FACIAL TEMPERATURE PACK HOLDER
A facial temperature pack holder may comprise a housing shaped similarly to earmuffs, wherein the housing has a top portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion, and wherein the housing provides for one or more of a top pocket, a first side pocket, and a second side pocket, and wherein one or more of the top pocket, first side pocket, and/or second side pocket are configured to contain at least one temperature pack. The present invention may also provide for at least one flexible connection fixedly connected to the top portion and one or more of the first side portion and/or the second side portion. The present invention may further comprise an interior surface or lining that may be configured to impart pleasing tactile properties. The present invention may also provide for one or more elements of webbing that may line one or more outside edges of the housing.
Molded cooling and heating face mask
A molded face mask for treating a user's face, the molded face mask having a rigid, inflexible body molded to the user's face, and a way to couple the molded face mask to the user's face. The body has a top edge, a bottom edge, a left side edge and a right side edge and at least one nostril opening disposed proximate the user's nostrils.
TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING CELLULITE AND FOR PROVIDING OTHER TREATMENTS
Treatment systems, methods, and apparatuses for improving the appearance of skin or other target regions are described. Aspects of the technology are directed to improving the appearance of skin by tightening the skin, improving skin tone or texture, eliminating or reducing wrinkles, increasing skin smoothness, or improving the appearance sites with cellulite. Treatments can include cooling a surface of a patient's skin and detecting freezing in the cooled skin. The tissue can be cooled after the freeze event is detected so to maintain the frozen state of the tissue to improve the appearance of the treatment site.
TREATMENT SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR IMPROVING THE APPEARANCE OF SKIN AND PROVIDING OTHER TREATMENTS
Treatment systems, methods, and apparatuses for improving the appearance of skin or other target regions are described as well as for providing for other treatments. Aspects of the technology are directed to improving the appearance of skin by tightening the skin, improving skin tone or texture, eliminating or reducing wrinkles, increasing skin smoothness, or improving the appearance of cellulite. Treatments can include cooling a surface of a patient's skin and detecting at least one freeze event in the cooled skin. The treatment system can continue cooling the patient's skin after the freeze event(s) are detected so to maintain at least a partially frozen state of the tissue for a period of time.
COMPOSITIONS, TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED COOLING OF LIPID-RICH TISSUE
Compositions and formulations for use with devices and systems that enable tissue cooling, such as cryotherapy applications, for alteration and reduction of adipose tissue are described. Aspects of the technology are further directed to methods, compositions and devices that provide protection of non-targeted cells (e.g., non-lipid-rich cells) from freeze damage during dermatological and related aesthetic procedures that require sustained exposure to cold temperatures. Further aspects of the technology include systems for enhancing sustained and/or replenishing release of cryoprotectant to a treatment site prior to and during cooling applications.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR UNATTENDED TREATMENT OF A PATIENT
An unattended approach can increase the reproducibility and safety of the treatment as the chance of over/under treating of a certain area is significantly decreased. On the other hand, unattended treatment of uneven or rugged areas can be challenging in terms of maintaining proper distance or contact with the treated tissue, mostly on areas which tend to differ from patient to patient (e.g. facial area). Delivering energy via a system of active elements embedded in a flexible pad adhesively attached to the skin offers a possible solution. The unattended approach may include delivering of multiple energies to enhance a visual appearance.
