Wearable heat transfer devices and associated systems and methods
Wearable heat transfer devices and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a representative heat transfer device can comprise (i) thermoelectric components each having a first side and a second side, (ii) a heat transfer system having a heat exchanger and an array of fluid distribution networks, in which individual fluid distribution networks are thermally coupled to the second side of a corresponding one of the thermoelectric components and fluidically coupled to the heat exchanger, and (iii) a flexible support unit coupled to the first sides of the thermoelectric components and extending at least between individual thermoelectric components, wherein the flexible support unit is a heat spreader configured to enhance heat transfer from a target area.
Devices configured to monitor biological parameters, and to provide treatment, at an Abreu brain thermal tunnel
Devices for therapeutic interaction with an Abreu brain thermal tunnel (ABTT) terminus. Such devices provide heat to or remove heat from the ABTT terminus, and may also provide heat to or remove heat from veins connected to the ABTT. Therapeutic devices for engaging with the ABTT terminus benefit from diagnostics obtained at the ABTT terminus, or from other locations on the body.
Cooling assembly
A cooling headgear is disclosed. Absorbent material within the headgear retains cold water. When worn by a user, the headgear holds the cold water to the head of the user, cooling the user.
Molded cooling and heating face mask
A molded face mask for treating a user's face, the molded face mask having a rigid, inflexible polycaprolactone body molded to the user's face, the body having: i) two opposed, slightly tapered end portions; ii) a generally straight lower edge; and iii) an upper edge having a concave portion disposed approximately half-way along a length of the upper edge. A kit for providing therapeutic relief and reducing redness and bumps associated with facial shaving.
HEATING ELEMENT COMPOSITION, AND METHOD AND DEVICE OF MANUFACTURING EYE MASK PACK
The present invention relates to a heating element composition, and a method of manufacturing an eye mask pack, which shows that a heating temperature is regular, and heat is uniformly generated, a heating pack is able to be worn in a state of coming into close contact even with a curved surface, a preservation period is long, and the heating temperature and time for which heat is generated can be adjusted minutely. Also, the present invention relates to a device of manufacturing an eye mask pack which is capable of manufacturing self-heating packs rapidly even without the use of nitrogen.
Cryotherapy dressing system
A dressing system for cooling skin or a wound site on a subject comprises a dressing having a reservoir for holding a liquid. The dressing may be configured for placement proximate to a postoperative surgical wound site of the subject or on the facial area of the subject. The dressing system includes a cooling chamber external to the dressing configured to cool the liquid. The dressing system includes a pump configured to circulate the liquid between the cooling chamber and the reservoir. The dressing system may include a suction element for applying suction at, or proximate to, the dressing for removing sweat or wound drainage.
MEDICAL DEVICES FOR GENERATING HEAT AND METHODS OF TREATMENT USING SAME
A device comprising a heat-generating component that comprises an alkali metal is provided. The alkali metal in the presence of water at a point of contact of the device undergoes an exothermic reaction to generate heat in situ. The amount of heat generated is proportional to and/or limited by the amount (or moles) of water at the point of contact, and the heat generated is sufficient to achieve an increase in temperature at the point of contact to achieve a therapeutic or beneficial result. In one embodiment, the device is used for reducing sweat production in a subject suffering from excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis. In other embodiments, the device is used to substantially sterilize a surface or render a surface substantially aseptic.
Compositions, treatment systems and methods for improved cooling of lipid-rich tissue
Compositions and formulations for use with devices and systems that enable tissue cooling, such as cryotherapy applications, for alteration and reduction of adipose tissue are described. Aspects of the technology are further directed to methods, compositions and devices that provide protection of non-targeted cells (e.g., non-lipid-rich cells) from freeze damage during dermatological and related aesthetic procedures that require sustained exposure to cold temperatures. Further aspects of the technology include systems for enhancing sustained and/or replenishing release of cryoprotectant to a treatment site prior to and during cooling applications.
FUNCTIONAL FABRIC
The present invention relates to a functional fabric. More specifically, the present invention relates to a functional fabric, which causes no skin irritation, has excellent washing durability and antibacterial and deodorizing properties, quickly discharges moisture generated from the human body, such as sweat or breath, and quickly diffuses heat.
DEVICES CONFIGURED TO PROVIDE TREATMENT AT AN ABREU BRAIN THERMAL TUNNEL
Provided are devices for therapeutic interaction with an Abreu brain thermal tunnel (ABTT) terminus. Such devices are configured to provide one or more drugs to an ABTT terminus, and may provide heat to or remove heat from the ABTT terminus while providing the one or more drugs.
