A driving chip includes a data channel block including a plurality of data channels, a scan channel block disposed in a first direction from the data channel block and including a plurality of scan channels, a data pad block disposed outside the data channel block and the scan channel block in the first direction and including a plurality of data pads which respectively receive a data signal from the plurality of data channels, and a scan pad block disposed outside the data channel block and the scan channel block in the first direction, disposed outside the data pad block in a second direction crossing the first direction and including a plurality of scan pads which respectively receive a scan signal from the scan channels.

A display device includes: a display panel including pixels, first to N-th gate integrated circuits (GICs) embedded in gate circuit boards and configured to output gate signals to the pixels, a first gate input power line and a first gate input signal line formed to pass through the gate circuit boards and connected to the GICs, a first feedback power line connected to the first gate input power line, a power supply configured to output a first gate input voltage to the first gate input power line, a first compensator configured to output a first compensation signal in response to a first feedback voltage from the first feedback power line, and a controller configured to output a first gate control signal to the first gate input signal line and output a power control signal to the power supply in response to the first compensation signal.

The present disclosure relates to a technology for driving a display panel, wherein setting data for setting an environment of a high-speed communication is transmitted through a low-speed communication before performing a high-speed communication for image data, thereby reducing errors in the high-speed communication and increasing the communication speed.

A display device includes a display panel having first and second display areas. A data driver provides data and bias voltages to data lines. A timing controller controls the data driver and a scan driver based on at least two operation modes. The first mode drives the first and second display areas at a normal frequency, and the second mode drives the first display area at a first frequency substantially equal to or lower than the normal frequency and the second display area at a second frequency lower than the first frequency. The second mode includes an active frame to write a reference voltage to display a black image in the second display area, and blank frames to maintain the reference voltage and apply the bias voltage to the pixels in the second display area. The data driver varies the bias voltage in the blank frames.

A light emitting display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a display panel including a unit pixel, a first LED disposed in the unit pixel, and a second LED disposed in the unit pixel and emitting light of the same color as the first LED. When the first LED and the second LED are able to emit light normally, the first LED and the second LED alternately emit light.

A display panel includes: a plurality of divided driving parts, wherein at least a divided driving part of the divided driving parts includes: a first connection line extending in a first direction; a second connecting line extending in the first direction and spaced apart from the first connection line in a second direction crossing the first direction; a first gate line extending in the second direction and electrically connected to the first connection line; a second gate line extending in the second direction, being spaced apart from the first gate line, and being electrically connected to the second connection line; a first pixel in a first pixel column and a first pixel row and electrically connected to the first gate line; and a second pixel in the first pixel column and a second pixel row and electrically connected to the second gate line.

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a scan driver, a data driver and a timing controller. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels that are connected to a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines having different lengths. The scan driver apply a plurality of scan signals to the plurality of scan lines. The data driver apply a plurality of data voltages to the plurality of data lines, and receive a plurality of sensing data that represent operating characteristics of all of the plurality of pixels from a plurality of sensing lines. The timing controller controls operations of the scan driver and the data driver, generates output image data considering the operating characteristics of all of the plurality of pixels and supply the output image data to the data drive.

A display panel includes pixels connected to first and second data lines and a readout line. The data driver supplies data signals to the first and second data lines and supplies an initialization voltage to the readout line. Each of the pixels includes at least one light emitting element and a driving transistor. The driving transistor controls an amount of current based on a difference between a corresponding data signal among the data signals and an initialization voltage. In a sensing mode, the data driver supplies a test voltage to the first data line and a first off voltage to the second data line in a first period and supplies a second off voltage to the second data line in a second period after the first period. The second off voltage is different from the test voltage and the first off voltage.
