DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A method of controlling a display device may comprise: identifying a first area among all areas of a content displayable on a display; and scanning multiple pixel lines by multiple pixel lines in the first area and scanning one pixel line by one pixel line in a second area among all the areas of content which remain after excluding the first area, wherein at least one of a size and a position of the first area and a number of first areas is variable.
Image processing device and control method therefor
Enabling generation of a display image giving less uncomfortable feeling. An image processing device comprises: an input unit configured to receive, as an image signal and a synchronizing signal, a frame image constituting a moving image; an acceptance unit configured to accept an image shift instruction instructing a change of a display position of the frame image in a vertical direction of a given display unit; a correction unit configured to correct the synchronizing signal on the basis of the image shift instruction; and an output unit configured to output the image signal and the corrected synchronizing signal in association with each other. If an image shift amount in the vertical direction included in the image shift instruction exceeds a predetermined amount, the correction unit performs correction corresponding to an image shift amount not more than the predetermined amount.
Reprojection and wobulation at head-mounted display device
A head-mounted display device including one or more position sensors and a processor. The processor may receive a rendered image of a current frame. The processor may receive position data from the one or more position sensors and determine an updated device pose based on the position data. The processor may apply a first spatial correction to color information in pixels of the rendered image at least in part by reprojecting the rendered image based on the updated device pose. The head-mounted display device may further include a display configured to apply a second spatial correction to the color information in the pixels of the rendered image at least in part by applying wobulation to the reprojected rendered image to thereby generate a sequence of wobulated pixel subframes for the current frame. The display may display the current frame by displaying the sequence of wobulated pixel subframes.
Curved display and a driving method thereof
A curved display device includes a curved panel including a plurality of pixels, and an image compensation processor. The image compensation processor is configured to convert a first image signal into a second image signal by scaling the first image signal based on a curvature of the curved panel and a viewing distance between a viewer and the curved panel, map the second image signal onto corresponding pixels of the curved panel, and provide the mapped second image signal to the corresponding pixels of the curved panel.
Photo selection for mobile devices
In one embodiment, a computing device receives a request from a mobile device of a user for an image. The computing device determines whether the user is associated with a preferred orientation for viewing an image. The preferred orientation is determined based on the user's usage patterns with respect to a particular application of the mobile device, or to the user's interactions with a social-networking system. If the user is associated with a preferred orientation, the image is adjusted to have the preferred orientation and to match display capabilities of the mobile device sending the request. The adjusted image is sent to the mobile device for display.
Mobile terminal and screen scroll method therein
A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which a scroll speed of information displayed on a display unit can be adjusted. The present invention includes a touchscreen configured to display information, and a controller configured to control the information to be scrolled on the touchscreen at a first speed in response to a user input for scrolling the information, if a scroll of the information starts, control the first speed to be decelerated at a predetermined rate, and if a user interested information in the information is displayed as the information is scrolled, control the information to start to be scrolled at a second speed.
Display device for a vehicle
A display device for a vehicle includes a projection device that is provided on a vehicle cabin interior side of a front windshield glass in a vehicle, and displays information by projecting projection light so that this information appears superimposed on scenery visible in front of the vehicle, a display device that is provided in an instrument panel of the vehicle, and displays information towards a vehicle occupant seat side, and a display control unit that, of planned actions acquired from a self-driving control unit that controls self-driving of the vehicle, causes a planned action that is to be performed next after a vehicle action currently being performed to be displayed as a primary planned action by the projection device, and also causes planned actions that are to be performed subsequently to the primary planned action to be displayed as secondary planned actions.
CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TERMINAL
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a control method and device for a terminal. The control method for the terminal provided by the disclosure comprises the steps: acquiring operation information of a user at an edge touch area of the terminal; and controlling the display direction of a keyboard of the terminal according to the operation information of the user at the edge touch area of the terminal. The technical solutions of the present disclosure have the advantages that the operation is simple and convenient, the man-machine interaction efficiency is improved, and the problem of relatively low man-machine interaction efficiency caused by a reason that it is quite inconvenient to input data via the keyboard when the holding direction different from the display direction of the keyboard is adopted in the prior art can be solved.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SWITCHING PLAYING MODE OF A MOBILE TERMINAL, STORAGE MEDIUM AND PROGRAM
Disclosed is a method and device for switching a playing mode of a mobile terminal, a storage medium and a program, including creating a full screen blank view and creating a full screen playing view, so that the full screen playing view covers the full screen blank view; loading a video content to be played into the full screen playing view; and after a rotation angle of a mobile terminal is received, rotating the video content which is loaded into the full screen playing view, and playing the rotated video content in the full screen playing view. By switching a playing mode of a mobile terminal, a non-full screen mode in a vertical screen form is switched to a full screen mode in a horizontal screen form; and a video content does not need to be recomposed any longer, thereby reducing hardware resources consumption and accelerating the switching process.
Image processing device, image processing method, and image display system
An image processing device includes a memory that stores a program and a processor that executes the program stored in the memory to perform a process. The process includes obtaining input image data that is generated by combining, in a horizontal direction, an effective display area of first image data and an effective display area obtained by expanding an effective display area of second image data in the vertical direction, the vertical size of the second image data being smaller than the vertical size of the first image data; and generating second output image data corresponding to the second image data by reducing the vertical size of second intermediate image data among first intermediate image data and the second intermediate image data, which are obtained by dividing the input image data in the horizontal direction, based on the vertical size of the effective display area of the second image data.
