An apparatus for combining input signals produced by a plurality of electric musical devices includes a plurality of audio buses and a plurality of segments. Each segment includes input circuitry configured to receive at least one input signal from at least one electric musical device and to deliver the at least one input signal to one of the plurality of audio buses; a plurality of variable adjustment devices each associated with a corresponding one of the audio buses and each configured to change at least one property of an input signal received by another of the plurality of segments and carried on the corresponding one of the audio buses independent from input signals carried on other of the plurality of audio buses; and a mixer configured to combine the input signals carried on each of the plurality of audio buses into an output signal.

The information providing method includes: sequentially identifying a performance speed at which a user performs a piece of music; identifying, in the piece of music, a performance position that is performed by the user; setting an adjustment amount in accordance with a temporal variation in the identified performance speed; and providing the user with music information corresponding to a time point that is later, by the adjustment amount, than a time point that corresponds to the performance position identified in the piece of music.

Techniques include identifying a first portion of executable code associated with a first controller, accessing a functional line-of-code behavior and relation model representing functionality of the first portion of executable code and a second portion of executable code; determining, based on the functional line-of-code behavior and relation model, that the second portion of executable code is interdependent with the first portion of executable code; and generating, based on the determined interdependency, a report identifying the interdependent first portion of executable code and second portion of executable code.

A system and method for operating and performing a remotely networked virtual musical instrument. A client transmits musical control data to a remote server over the network, encompassing a digital music engine and digitally sampled virtual musical instruments. In return, the client consumes, synchronizes, and mixes the combined server playback stream from the network of the fully expressive and interactive musical performance with zero audible latency.

According to embodiments of the present disclosure, systems, methods, and computer program products for audio- and video-editing are provided. A reference file comprising a visual representation (e.g., musical score) of a final video/audio product is read and displayed to a user. A plurality of sections (e.g., measures) and a plurality of symbols (e.g., notes) are determined. A plurality of audio/video recordings are read where each recording corresponding to at least a portion of the visual representation. For each of the plurality of sections, a corresponding segment of at least one of the plurality of audio/video recordings is determined. First selections of a section of the plurality of sections are received from the user. For each of the first selections, a listing of the plurality of audio/video recordings in which at least a portion of the selected section occurs is displayed to the user. For each of the first selections, a second selection of an audio/video recording from the listing is received from the user thereby linking the selected section to the corresponding segment of the selected audio/video recording. An audio/video file is generated by combining each of the linked segments.

A method of distribution of digital musical scores for performance by a plurality of musicians. The method includes: receiving a musical score request from a user device; obtaining, via a musical score source, a set of musical score components of a musical part for a piece of music associated with the musical score request; obtaining a transmission delay value associated with a communication path; providing, from the musical score source and using the processor, at least one of the set of musical score components to the user device using a first distribution timing based on the obtained transmission delay value; and providing a set of corresponding musical score components of a different musical part for the piece of music to a different user device based on a different transmission delay value associated with the different user device, such as to enable coordinated playback by users without a conductor.

Different aspects of the invention implement a sensor module that can be configured as a keyboard module or as a pedal module, allowing to connect a plurality of keyboard and pedal modules to assemble a configuration to the user's liking, such as, for example, the usual configuration of an 87-key piano together with two pedals. A wireless controller that allows a musician to wirelessly switch between audio effect presets, loops, and/or songs which are stored in a specialized audio/instrument cable or adapter. The wireless controller can be located in the same place as (or incorporated into) a digital guitar tuner on a guitar headstock allowing the musician to operate the wireless controller in a familiar location while switching between audio effect presets, loops, and/or songs by tapping on small buttons.
