SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONICALLY GENERATING MUSIC
20200051535 · 2020-02-13 ·

A musical instrument for electronically producing music from audio segments. The musical instrument comprises: an apparatus having a first surface; a plurality of selectable elements disposed in a substantially circular geometry on the first surface; and at least one memory storing the plurality of audio segments, each of the plurality of audio segments being associated with a respective selectable element in the plurality of selectable elements, wherein, in response to detecting selection of a subset of the plurality of selectable elements, the system is configured to generate music using audio segments in the plurality of audio segments that are associated with the selected subset of the plurality of selectable elements.

Arpeggiator, recording medium and method of making arpeggio

[Problem] To provide an arpeggiator enabling musically natural arpeggio playing to be achieved, and a program comprising a function therefor. [Solution] In the present invention, a synthesizer 1 resets the number of octaves in an octave counter memory 12d to zero at the beginning of each bar when an octave reset function is on. Due to this configuration, sounds generated at the beginning of each bar, that is, when the step count is 0, all have the same note number. Consequently, a sound generation timing-based cycle of an arpeggio pattern of each bar can be synchronized with a pitch variation-based cycle, making it possible to give a listener the impression that a consistent phrase is being played.

AUTOMATIC PERFORMANCE DEVICE AND AUTOMATIC PERFORMANCE METHOD

The automatic performance device includes a storage part for storing a plurality of performance patterns, a performance part for playing a performance on the basis of a performance pattern stored in the storage part, an input part for inputting performance information through an input device that receives a performance operation of a user, and a selection part for selecting a performance pattern being a maximum likelihood estimation from the plurality of performance patterns stored in the storage part on the basis of the performance information input to the input part.

Method for Producing and Streaming Music Generated From Biofeedback
20190333487 · 2019-10-31 ·

A method for producing and streaming music generated from biofeedback. The method employs machine-readable language instructions that alter received signals from a wearable biofeedback device, generating musical tones to be played on a portable electronic device and/or shared with others. The varying musical tones that are produced by the method can be modulated by the user to reach a targeted state of emotion.

MIDI mapping system and process for multiple chord and arpeggio triggering
10262643 · 2019-04-16 ·

Systems and processes that use MIDI mapping technology for multiple chord and arpeggio triggering are disclosed, including a multiple chord and arpeggio triggering MIDI mapping system and process that assigns, selects, and records chord and multi-arpeggio functions into a digital audio workstation (DAW) host program or an internalized sequencer and a two-phase multiple chord and time-delayed arpeggio triggering MIDI mapping process for recording a chord progression and enabling multi-arpeggio functions of the chords in the chord progression to be worked on at any time-delayed instance after recording the chord progression. The system divides output from a MIDI controller into chord generators and arpeggiators to allow users to define full chords with a single key selection, while also making immediate or time-delayed single key selections for different arpeggios.

A first input section is used for inputting first tone data, and a first output section is connected to the first input section via a first path. A second input section is used for inputting second tone data, and a second output section is connected to the second input section via a second path. A tone processing module performs tone processing on the tone data, and a processor is configured to insert the tone processing module into the first and second paths in response to selection of first and second modes, respectively. The tone processing module performs the tone processing on the first tone data in the first mode, and performs the tone processing on the second tone data in the second mode. The above allows connection of the module to be set easily in response to the selected mode.
