Digital jukebox device with karaoke and/or photo booth features, and associated methods
Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, certain exemplary embodiments relate to jukebox systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features along with karaoke jukebox and/or photo booth features. A combined karaoke/photo booth/jukebox may enable more integrated performance-like experiences in an in-home or out-of-home location or venue. By leveraging vast audio media libraries, trusted rights-respecting network infrastructure, and on-site image/video capturing from integrated recorders and/or remote portable devices, a more sociable experience may be created for karaoke jukebox patrons, e.g., where custom content can be generated and shared in a safe and legally appropriate manner.
Electronic device for outputting sound and operating method thereof
An electronic device includes a microphone, a speaker, a processor operatively connected to the microphone and the speaker, and a memory electrically connected to the processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive a sound through the microphone, analyze the received sound, determine a song associated with the sound, and a kind of output sound based on at least in part on a result of the analyzing, generate an output sound based on the kind of output sound, and output the generated output sound through the speaker.
Systems and methods for generating audible versions of text sentences from audio snippets
A method is performed at a server system of a media-providing service. The server system has one or more processors and memory storing instructions for execution by the one or more processors. The method includes receiving a text sentence including a plurality of words from a device of a first user and extracting a plurality of audio snippets from one or more audio tracks. A respective audio snippet in the plurality of audio snippets corresponds to one or more words in the plurality of words of the text sentence. The method also includes assembling the plurality of audio snippets in a first order to produce an audible version of the text sentence. The method further includes providing, for playback at the device of the first user, the audible version of the text sentence including the plurality of audio snippets in the first order.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSOCIATION OF A SONG, MUSIC, OR OTHER MEDIA CONTENT WITH A USER'S VIDEO CONTENT
In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for association of a song, music, or other media content with a user's video content. The system enables a user to associate a song, music, or other media content that is associated with an audio clip and a song metadata of a media content, with a video they are about to create, or have created, to create a video moment. A recipient of the video moment can hear the audio clip in combination with the video content, and also view the song metadata overlay, to determine the name of the song and artist that was used in the video, or optionally access the song at a media server, for further listening by the recipient.
SOCIAL MUSIC SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH CONTINUOUS, REAL-TIME PITCH CORRECTION OF VOCAL PERFORMANCE AND DRY VOCAL CAPTURE FOR SUBSEQUENT RE-RENDERING BASED ON SELECTIVELY APPLICABLE VOCAL EFFECT(S) SCHEDULE(S)
Vocal musical performances may be captured and, in some cases or embodiments, pitch-corrected and/or processed in accord with a user selectable vocal effects schedule for mixing and rendering with backing tracks in ways that create compelling user experiences. In some cases, the vocal performances of individual users are captured on mobile devices in the context of a karaoke-style presentation of lyrics in correspondence with audible renderings of a backing track. Such performances can be pitch-corrected in real-time at the mobile device in accord with pitch correction settings. Vocal effects schedules may also be selectively applied to such performances. In these ways, even amateur user/performers with imperfect pitch are encouraged to take a shot at “stardom” and/or take part in a game play, social network or vocal achievement application architecture that facilitates musical collaboration on a global scale and/or, in some cases or embodiments, to initiate revenue generating in-application transactions.
PARAMETER CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING PARAMETER
A parameter control device according to an embodiment includes a value acquiring unit and a parameter output unit. The value acquiring unit acquires an indicating value of a first operation element. The parameter output unit outputs a plurality of parameter values corresponding to the acquired indicating value, based on setting information and a correspondence relation between the indicating value and a coordinate in an area defined by a plurality of coordinate axes. The setting information is for setting a relation between a plurality of parameter values and a coordinate. The plurality of parameter values being for controlling a state of content.
Low latency audio data pipeline
Systems and methods for low latency audio data pipelines are disclosed. For example, a software enabled access point is established for direct wireless communication between a microphone device and an electronic device. Additionally, an audio data processing pipeline that bypasses default data processing of an operating system stack of the electronic device is utilized. The audio data processing pipeline includes minimal audio data processing that writes audio data directly to hardware components for output of corresponding audio.
Computing technologies for music editing
This disclosure discloses various computing technologies that enable a user to insert a personal vocal content into an original song in a quick and simple manner, thereby potentially creating a derivative work of the original song. Additionally, these technologies enable a right holder of the original song to monitor the new derivative work in a granular, reliable, de-centralized, and secure manner.
KARAOKE QUERY PROCESSING SYSTEM
Computer systems and methods are provided for processing audio queries. An electronic device receives an audio clip and performs a matching process on the audio clip. The matching process includes comparing at least a portion of the audio clip to a plurality of reference audio tracks and identifying, based on the comparing, a first portion of a particular reference track that corresponds to the audio sample. Upon identifying the matching portion, the electronic device provides a backing track for playback which corresponds to the particular reference track, and an initial playback position of the backing track.
Singing scoring method and singing scoring system based on streaming media
A singing scoring method and a singing scoring system based on streaming media are provided. In the singing scoring method and the singing scoring system, a first time difference between a moment at which a streaming video player starts to play a song and a moment at which an electronic device starts an audio recording program and a scoring engine is calculated. In addition, in the singing scoring method and the singing scoring system, a playing time difference of the streaming video player within every fixed period of a system time of the electronic device is continuously calculated, and the playing time difference is transferred to the scoring engine for accumulation to form a second time difference. The scoring engine then adjusts a singing time of each note in an entire musical score according to the first time difference and the second time difference.
