A system and method for delivering dynamic user-controlled musical accompaniments, utilizing a computing device with a graphical user interface, an application running on said device, optionally using peripheral external or integrated devices, and a variety of controls to dynamically alter the playback of a pre-recorded accompaniment track, saving the altered accompaniment track for later use, and for sharing with other users via a cloud service engine, if desired.

The present disclosure relates to a display device and a display system for providing lyrics when reproducing music of the external device, regardless of a connection state of an external device. The display device includes: a display; a controller configured to receive a music reproduction command through an external device; and an audio output interface configured to output music received from the external device, wherein, when the controller receives the music reproduction command, the controller is configured to request lyric information to the external device, and when the controller receives the lyric information from the external device, the controller is configured to display lyrics through the display while outputting the music.

Disclosed are a vehicle-mounted audio playing method and apparatus, a multimedia host, and a storage medium. The vehicle-mounted audio playing method includes: obtaining, by the multimedia host through a receiver, a first voice signal collected by a mobile microphone; and when the vehicle-mounted audio playing apparatus is in an out-of-vehicle karaoke mode, fusing, by the multimedia host, the first voice signal and an accompaniment signal, and outputting a fused signal to an out-of-vehicle speaker after performing amplification processing through a power amplifier, to drive the out-of-vehicle speaker to produce sound.

Playback of a graphical representation of a digital musical score is synchronized with an expressive audio rendering of the score that contains tempo and dynamics beyond those specified in the score. The method involves determining a set of offsets for occurrences of score events in the audio rendering by comparing and temporally aligning audio waveforms of successive subclips of the audio rendering with corresponding audio waveforms of successive subclips of an audio rendering synthesized directly from the score. Tempos and dynamics of human performances may be extracted and used to generate expressive renderings synthesized from the corresponding digital score. This enables parties who wish to distribute or share music scores, such as composers and publishers, to allow prospective licensors to evaluate the score by listening to an expressive musical recording instead of a mechanically synthesized rendering.

A KTV player in communication with at least one song server is configured to upload a song list of a song database to the song server, obtain a song playback list from the song server, obtain corresponding music scores and pitch curves from the song server according to the song playback list, obtain corresponding songs according to the song playback list, display the songs in sequence on a display, and display the corresponding music scores and pitch curves on the display synchronously with the songs. The song playback list is sent by a mobile terminal in communication with the song server.

Vocal musical performances may be captured and, in some cases or embodiments, pitch-corrected and/or processed in accord with a user selectable vocal effects schedule for mixing and rendering with backing tracks in ways that create compelling user experiences. An application for operating on a smart phone that records a musician's performance, either voice or instrumental, in combination with pre-recorded music. The combination allows for the auto tuning of the recording, the compression of the recording, the equalization of the recording, adding in reverb, correcting latency and the audio quantization of the rhythm, in addition to music enhancement features such as vocal spread, DeEsser, vocal doubler, vocal harmonizer, tape saturation, pitch correcdtion, flanger, phaser, auto pan, vibrato, tremolo, rotary, ring modulator, metalizer, expander, noise gate, wah, vocal leveling, tape stop, half speed, LoFi, and stutter. Once combined, the song is transmitted to social media and/or to an online store for sale. The user can also make a video with the song. Additional marketing such as song competitions or music reviews and ratings are also provided.

In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing a live lyrics overlay in a social messaging environment. The system can utilize advances in three-dimensional mapping technology that allow social messaging services, to offer real time video lenses or overlays to their users, and extends this three-dimensional mapping technology to support for lyrics. During creation of a video with lyrics lens overlay, the lyrics corresponding to a selected song are retrieved from a lyrics source, and are displayed within the video. For example, with the lyrics lens, a user can record an image of themselves on live video, singing along to a song clip, with the lyrics of the song displayed as if they appear to be coming from their mouths. The created live lyrics content can also be shared with other users of a social messaging environment.

Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, certain exemplary embodiments relate to jukebox systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features along with karaoke jukebox and/or photo booth features. A combined karaoke/photo booth/jukebox may enable more integrated performance-like experiences in an in-home or out-of-home location or venue. By leveraging vast audio media libraries, trusted rights-respecting network infrastructure, and on-site image/video capturing from integrated recorders and/or remote portable devices, a more sociable experience may be created for karaoke jukebox patrons, e.g., where custom content can be generated and shared in a safe and legally appropriate manner.
