NETWORK-BASED PROCESSING AND DISTRIBUTION OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENT OF A LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
Methods, systems, and computer program products for network-based processing and distribution of multimedia content of a live performance are disclosed. In some implementations, recording devices can be configured to record a multimedia event (e.g., a musical performance). The recording devices can provide the recordings to a server while the event is ongoing. The server automatically synchronizes, mixes and masters the recordings. The server performs the automatic mixing and mastering using reference audio data previously captured during a rehearsal. The server streams the mastered recording to multiple end users through the Internet or other public or private network. The streaming can be live streaming.
Audio performance with far field microphone
Various aspects include systems and approaches for providing audio performance capabilities with one or more far field microphones. One aspect includes a method of controlling a speaker system with at least one far field microphone that is coupled with a separate display device. The method can include: receiving a user command to initiate an audio performance mode; initiating audio playback of an audio performance file at a transducer at the speaker system; initiating video playback including musical performance guidance associated with the audio performance file at the display device; receiving a user generated acoustic signal at the at least one far field microphone after initiating the audio playback and the video playback; comparing the user generated acoustic signal with a reference acoustic signal; and providing feedback about the comparison to the user.
AUDITIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods are provided for assembling and displaying a visual ensemble of musical performances that were created and uploaded from one or more locations that are remote from a host of the network, a director or other administrator reviewing submissions for selection and assembly, or perhaps merely remote from one or more other submissions received over a computer network. The assembled performances include a plurality of submissions, the submissions including performances created and uploaded at one or more locations remote from the location of the director for the assembly and display over the computer network. Systems and methods are also included for mapping one performance against another performance qualitatively, quantitatively, in real-time, or some combination thereof, enabling a musician, or a reviewer of performances, in the assessment of one performance relative to another performance.
AUTOMATED GENERATION OF COORDINATED AUDIOVISUAL WORK BASED ON CONTENT CAPTURED FROM GEOGRAPHICALLY DISTRIBUTED PERFORMERS
Vocal audio of a user together with performance synchronized video is captured and coordinated with audiovisual contributions of other users to form composite duet-style or glee club-style or window-paned music video-style audiovisual performances. In some cases, the vocal performances of individual users are captured (together with performance synchronized video) on mobile devices, television-type display and/or set-top box equipment in the context of karaoke-style presentations of lyrics in correspondence with audible renderings of a backing track. Contributions of multiple vocalists are coordinated and mixed in a manner that selects for presentation, at any given time along a given performance timeline, performance synchronized video of one or more of the contributors. Selections are in accord with a visual progression that codes a sequence of visual layouts in correspondence with other coded aspects of a performance score such as pitch tracks, backing audio, lyrics, sections and/or vocal parts.
Display control system and display control method
A method according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes acquiring verbal data representing a verbal expression corresponding to a sound reproduced by an acoustic device, and displaying, on a display device, motion graphics including the verbal expression corresponding to the sound reproduced by the acoustic device in a form of a text in accordance with the verbal data. The displaying the motion graphics on the display device includes selecting a type of motion graphics that relates to the verbal expression corresponding to the reproduced sound from among various types of motion graphics and displaying the selected type of motion graphics on the display device.
RE-TIMING A VIDEO SEQUENCE TO AN AUDIO SEQUENCE BASED ON MOTION AND AUDIO BEAT DETECTION
Embodiments are disclosed for re-timing a video sequence to an audio sequence based on the detection of motion beats in the video sequence and audio beats in the audio sequence. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods comprise receiving a first input, the first input including a video sequence, detecting motion beats in the video sequence, receiving a second input, the second input including an audio sequence, detecting audio beats in the audio sequence, modifying the video sequence by matching the detected motions beats in the video sequence to the detected audio beats in the audio sequence, and outputting the modified video sequence.
MUSICAL COMPOSITION FILE GENERATION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A system and method to identify a digital representation of a first musical composition including a set of musical blocks. A set of parameters associated with video content are identified. In accordance with one or more rules, one or more of the set of musical blocks of the first musical composition are modified based on the set of parameters to generate a derivative musical composition corresponding to the video content. An audio file including the derivative musical composition corresponding to the video content is generated.
Real-time integration and review of musical performances streamed from remote locations
WIRELESS HANDHELD AUDIO CAPTURE DEVICE AND MULTI-VOCALIST METHOD FOR AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA APPLICATION
Embodiments described herein relate generally to systems comprising a display device, a display device-coupled computing platform, a mobile device in communication with the computing platform, and a content server in which methods and techniques of capture and/or processing of audiovisual performances are described and, in particular, description of techniques suitable for use in connection with display device connected computing platforms for rendering vocal performance captured by a handheld computing device.
Method and apparatus for generating music
A terminal for generating music may identify, based on execution of scenario recognition, scenarios for images previously received by the terminal. The terminal may generate respective description texts for the scenarios. The terminal may execute keyword-based rhyme matching based on the respective description texts. The terminal may generate respective rhyming lyrics corresponding to the images. The terminal may convert the respective rhyming lyrics corresponding to the images into a speech. The terminal may synthesize the speech with preset background music to obtain image music.
