Strum pad
Various embodiments are provided generally relating to providing a strum pad on a user device. In some embodiments, a musical arrangement may be provided on a user device. A score of the musical arrangement may be tracked as it plays. In some embodiments, gestures may be detected on the user device while the user device plays the musical arrangement. In response to detecting the gesture, a component piece for the musical arrangement may be outputted. In some embodiments, the outputted component piece may correspond to the tracked score of the musical arrangement.
Electronic Keyboard with Selectable Diatonic and Jazz Scales
This patent is about special scale configurations for electronic keyboards and controls to select them. Currently most keyboards are tuned to a well-tempered chromatic scale. This patent presents several alternate scales which can be selected by the musician. These selectable scales include the major and minor diatonic basic and active scales, major and minor semi-diatonic basic and active scales, jazz basic and active scales among others. This patent extends to an electronic component for studio use that incorporates automatic chord recognition and alternate scale selection to produce more harmonious pitches for notes played on a keyboard. This patent also describes reed instruments such as the melodica and the accordion when capability to select alternate scales is added.
Arpeggiator, recording medium and method of making arpeggio
[Problem] To provide an arpeggiator capable of creating a rich arpeggio performance that includes multiple pieces of performance information, and a program equipped with a function therefor. [Solution] When the key press mode for a sounding part is a chord, a synthesizer 1 acquires all note numbers from a remain table for the sounding part in a setting table 11e and stores all the note numbers in an Arp note memory 12b. This allows all the notes corresponding to the note numbers set in the remain table to be concurrently generated at the sounding time set in an Arp pattern. That is, an expressive arpeggio based on a chord made up of all the notes corresponding to the note numbers set in the remain table can be produced.
