SPATIAL MUSIC CREATION INTERFACE
Disclosed is a method of providing a music creation interface using a head-mounted device, including displaying first and second geometric loops fixed relative to a location in the real world, the first and second geometric loops each including a plurality of beat indicators. The second geometric loop is spaced apart from the first geometric loop. An interface comprising a plurality of sound or note icons is displayed, and in response to receiving user selection to move a selected sound or note icon to a particular beat indicator on one of the geometric loops, the selected sound or note icon is displayed at the particular beat indicator. In use, the geometric loops are rotated relative to at least one play indicator, and the selected sound or note icon is rendered when it reaches the at least one play indicator.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, TERMINAL, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
An information processing device includes a control part. The control part executes: receiving operation information of an electronic musical instrument from the electronic musical instrument; and transmitting operation associated information of the electronic musical instrument corresponding to the operation information to a terminal of a user of the electronic musical instrument, the terminal being different from the electronic musical instrument.
Synthesized percussion pedal and docking station
Methods, Apparatus, and a System (collectively a “platform”) for facilitating, enabling, or enhancing creation, control, and playback of digital audio loops or parts are disclosed herein. The platform may include playing back midi song segments. The midi song segments may comprise a midi sequence that is looped a predetermined number of times. The platform may include transitioning to another midi song segment automatically after predetermined number of loops or transitioning in response to a command. The platform may include changing the number of loops during playback of a song segment in response to a command. The platform may relate to enabling automatic generation of song segments during a performance. The platform may include automatically selecting midi sequences to enhance playback. The platform may include other features pertaining to enhancing or enabling digital music creation or composition.
INTERACTIVE MOVEMENT AUDIO ENGINE
A method for generating an audio output is described. Image inputs of interactive movements by a user captured by an image sensor are received. The interactive movements are mapped to a sequence of audio element identifiers. The sequence of audio element identifiers are processed to generate a musical sequence by performing music theory rule enforcement on the sequence of audio element identifiers. An audio output that represents the musical sequence is generated.
System and method for generating an audio file
The present invention relates to a computer implemented system and method for generating an audio output file. The method including using one or more processors to perform steps of: receiving audio tracks, each audio track created according to audio parameters; separating each audio track into at least one selectable audio block, each audio block including audio content from a musical instrument involved in creating the audio track; assigning a unique identifier to each audio block; using the unique identifiers to select audio blocks, and generating the audio output by combining the audio blocks. The present invention prevents the use of the same combination of audio blocks in the generation of audio output to ensure that the audio output files generated a sufficiently unique. Also provided are audio file recording, editing and mixing modules enabling a user to have full creative control over mix and other parameters to modify as desired the audio file generated.
User interfaces for content applications
In some embodiments, an electronic device displays time-synced lyrics of content items playing on an electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device displays representations of content items in a playback sequence on an electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device shares an item of content with another user account of another electronic device.
Method, device and software for controlling transport of audio data
A method for processing music audio data, including providing input audio data representing a first piece of music comprising a mixture of musical timbres. The method also includes decomposing the input audio data to generate at least first-timbre decomposed data representing a first timbre selected from the musical timbres of the first piece of music, and second-timbre decomposed data representing a second timbre selected from the musical timbres of the first piece of music. The method also includes applying a transport control to obtain transport controlled first-timbre decomposed data. The method also includes recombining audio data obtained from the transport controlled first-timbre decomposed data with audio data obtained from the second-timbre decomposed data to obtain recombined audio data.
Separate isolated and resonance samples for a virtual instrument
A virtual instrument can manage separate static and dynamic samples for various notes that can be played by the virtual instrument. In some cases, the static samples correspond to resonance sounds recorded for an instrument and are the same for every note. However, the dynamic samples may correspond to isolated sounds that are recorded for each variation of a note that can be played. In response to a user's selection of a note on a user interface of the virtual instrument, the virtual instrument may determine a rule for layering the various static and dynamic samples for playback.
Composing music using foresight and planning
An approach is provided in which an information handling system configures a reinforcement learning model based inspiration selections received from a user. The information handling system performs training iterations using the configured reinforcement learning model, which generates multiple actions and multiple rewards corresponding to multiple actions. The information handling system determines that the multiple rewards reach an empirical threshold and, in turn, generates a musical composition based on the multiple actions.
Wearable sound
Vibratory motors are used to generate a haptic language for music or other sound that is integrated into wearable technology. The disclosed system enables the creation of a family of devices that allow people with hearing impairments to experience sounds such as music or other auditory input to the system. For example, a “sound vest” or one or more straps comprising a set of motors transforms musical input to haptic signals so that users can experience their favorite music in a unique way, and can also recognize auditory cues in the user's everyday environment and convey this information to the user using haptic signals.
