Systems and methods are disclosed that relate to a stabilization and cooling apparatus having a stabilizing structure with at least one inflatable chamber, the stabilizing structure configured to become semi-rigid upon inflation of the at least one inflatable chamber. A cooling structure is integrated with the stabilizing structure and includes a single-use cooling element and a thermally conductive material in thermal communication with the single-use cooling element. The apparatus also has an actuator configured to cause inflation of at least one inflatable chamber.
HOT/COLD TEMPERATURE TREATMENT APPARATUS
Packs for providing heat or cold to a body part or parts. In some embodiments, packs comprising an outer flexible shell or skin housing or carrying a plurality of beads mixed in combination with a liquid or gel. In some embodiments, packs, which can be (or are) configured into various shapes, which contain beads in combination with a liquid or gel solution, which can be heated or cooled for application, thereafter, to a body part for providing hot or cold therapy to the body part.
APPLICATOR DEVICE AND RELATED APPARATUS
Disclosed is an applicator device for an apparatus used in a localized cryotherapy treatment. The applicator device is configured, when positioned over a body area to be treated, to receive and to uniformly distribute across the entire area covered thereby a stream of medium, such as air, adjusted to a temperature equal to or above −40 degrees Celsius (° C.) and directed, at a predetermined speed, via the applicator to the area to be treated, whereby a cold-induced thermal shock response is developed in skin and an underlying tissue within the area covered by the applicator. Related apparatus and a method are further provided.
HEATING DEVICES
A heating device includes a heating unit and device electronics. The heating unit is configured to deliver heat to a user's body. The heating unit includes a substrate and a heating element supported by the substrate. The device electronics are coupled to the heating element and are configured to store a first heating profile that includes data indicating how power should be delivered to the heating element over a first period of time. The device electronics are configured to deliver power to the heating element according to the first heating profile. The device electronics are configured to wirelessly receive a second heating profile from an external computing device. The second heating profile includes data indicating how power should be delivered to the heating element over a second period of time. The device electronics are configured to deliver power to the heating element according to the second heating profile.
Hilotherapy Shoulder Wrap and Strap Assembly
The hilotherapy wrap includes a conventional removable internal water bladder, an exterior cloth cover enclosing the bladder and a detachable strap assembly that allows the wrap to be donned and doffed by the user without assistance and using only one arm. The strap assembly includes a pair of elastic straps detachably connected to the cover by hook and loop fasteners affixed to a strap anchor and one of the strap ends. The strap assembly also includes a quick connect buckles and a slide or D-ring that allows both ends of the straps to be connected to the cover before tensioned snugly around the user.

The device electronics are configured to deliver power to the heating element according to the second heating profile.
CARE TRAVEL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A care travel system which provides comfort and relief from headaches. It holds an ice pack or other chilled items against the head, neck, and shoulders. The device counteracts fevers when facing an illness. It effectively eliminates the need to take medication, which can make people sleepy and groggy or cause an allergic reaction. As designed it prevents soreness and discomfort that typically manifests during travel.
Thermal Therapy Garment Assembly
A thermal therapy garment assembly for includes a shirt that is wearable on a user. A plurality of pockets is each of the pockets is coupled to the shirt. A plurality of thermal packs is provided and each of the thermal packs is positionable in a respective one of the pockets. Each of the thermal packs is exposable to a heat source to apply heat therapy to strategic locations on the user's body. Each of the thermal packs is exposable to a cooling source to apply cold therapy to the strategic locations on the user's body. A plurality of straps is each coupled to the shirt. Each of the straps is tensionable along the shirt for compressing the shirt against the user's body. In this way each of the straps reduces blood circulation in the user's body for enhancing effectiveness of the heat or cold therapy.
Modular apparatus for therapy of an animate body
A modular therapy system for treatment of at least a portion of an animate body is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first modular member and a second modular member. The first modular member comprises a heat transfer device adapted to transfer heat between the device and the portion of the animate body. The second modular member includes a pouch adapted to receive the first modular member. The second modular member can be wrapped around the animate body portion with the first modular member positioned therein. In various embodiments, the apparatus includes a third modular member having a pouch adapted to receive the first modular member. The third modular member is configured for wrapping to a different sized animate body or different portion of the body than the second modular member. The third modular member may have a different shape or size than the second modular member. In various embodiments, the second and third modular members are sleeves selected from among a plurality of differently configured sleeves. Methods of making and using the system are also disclosed.
Cold and Hot Compress Product and Preparation Method Therefor
A preparation method includes the following steps. Step 1: weighing the following raw materials by weight percentages: 5%-25% of acrylamide, 1%-10% of methylol acrylamide, 15-35% of glycerol, 0.1%-1% of sodium chloride, and 30%-50% of water; step 2: firstly adding water and glycerol to a reaction kettle, then adding acrylamide, methylol acrylamide and sodium chloride, and then stirring same together for 12-36 hours to obtain a stock material; step 3: filling the stock material in an outer bag, and pressing the outer bag containing the stock material with a flat weight for 30 to 180 minutes to form an elastic gel body in the outer bag; step 4: removing the outer bag and wrapping the elastic gel body with a wrapping cloth, and edge-binding the wrapping cloth along the shape of the elastic gel body.
