KEY TRANSPOSITION
Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, computer program products, and systems to for automatic key transposition. Embodiments of the present invention can be used to determine compatibility between a known melody capable of being generated by a pitch generation system and a first performance profile associated with a first performer that performs in conjunction with the pitch generation system. Embodiments of the present invention can be further used to determine an appropriate key to update one or more pitches associated with the known melody, to be generated by the pitch generation system during the performance by the first performer, based on the compatibility between the first performance profile and the known melody.
Self-produced music
An application for operating on a smart phone that records a musician's performance, either voice or instrumental, in combination with pre-recorded music. The combination allows for the auto tuning of the recording, the compression of the recording, the equalization of the recording, adding in reverb, and the audio quantization of the rhythm. Once combined, the song is transmitted to social media and/or to an online store for sale. The user can also make a video with the song. Additional marketing such as song competitions or music reviews and ratings are also provided.

Command interface for generating personalized audio content
The personalized content system of the system combines a summary music identification value creation and identification algorithm that represents a mathematical summary music identification of a song, an audio file, or other relational music criteria and data (e.g title, artist, genre, style, beats per minute, etc.) or any combination thereof. The derived value represents the musical taste or style attributes of a song or style. The user can control the system by issuing one of a plurality of commands comprising artist command, song/title command, genre command, and album/filtered list command. These commands then lead to command trees that may be used in a voice controlled system, for example.

Methods and systems for customizing a musical score of a media asset
Methods and systems for customizing a musical score of a media asset. In some aspects, control circuitry receives a media asset including metadata and a video component, a foreground audio component, and/or a background audio component. The control circuitry generates for display the media asset. The control circuitry receives an instruction to replace a portion of the background audio component of the media asset being displayed. The control circuitry identifies an attribute for the portion of the background audio component from the metadata. The control circuitry retrieves a user preference relating to background audio. The control circuitry determines an audio asset based on the attribute and the user preference. The control circuitry retrieves the audio asset. The control circuitry modifies the media asset by replacing the portion of the background audio component with the audio asset. The control circuitry generates for display the modified media asset.
Systems and methods for providing customized media channels
The present application describes systems and methods for creating customized media channels. A method of the invention according to some embodiments includes: (a) transmitting to a user device information comprising a list of music genres; receiving from the user device a message indicating that a user selected one of the listed genres and including an identifier identifying the selected genre; selecting one or more media content items in response to receiving the message, wherein the selection is based, at least in part, on (i) the genre selected by the user and (ii) profile information associated with a user identifier input by the user and/or a device identifier associated with the device; and transmitting the selected media content items to the device.
Collaborative Karaoke System, Method, and Application
A collaborative karaoke system that enables users to participate in karaoke sessions accompanied by live instruments. The system provides a mobile application installed on a user's device for providing interfaces for selecting venues, genres of music, and desired instruments. Users can connect and chat (i.e., chatroom) with other individuals registered in the system for collaboration and playing music in a karaoke setting. The system also includes a server system that includes an application server, a recommendation module, a user profile database, and a karaoke venue database, and the system facilitates venue recommendations based on user profiles and preferences.
Communication system, terminal, communication device and connection method
A communication system including a communication device, a terminal configured to be able to communicate with the communication device, and a server is provided. The communication device includes a request transmission part transmitting to the terminal a request for connection information for connecting to the server, a connection information reception part receiving from the terminal the connection information requested by the request transmission part, and a connection part communicably connecting to the server by using the connection information received by the connection information reception part. The terminal includes a request reception part receiving the request for the connection information from the communication device, a connection information acquisition part, acquiring the connection information corresponding to the request for the connection information received by the request reception part, and a connection information transmission part, transmitting the connection information acquired by the connection information acquisition part to the communication device.
