TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING CELLULITE AND FOR PROVIDING OTHER TREATMENTS
Treatment systems, methods, and apparatuses for improving the appearance of skin or other target regions are described. Aspects of the technology are directed to improving the appearance of skin by tightening the skin, improving skin tone or texture, eliminating or reducing wrinkles, increasing skin smoothness, or improving the appearance sites with cellulite. Treatments can include cooling a surface of a patient's skin and detecting freezing in the cooled skin. The tissue can be cooled after the freeze event is detected so to maintain the frozen state of the tissue to improve the appearance of the treatment site.
TREATMENT SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR IMPROVING THE APPEARANCE OF SKIN AND PROVIDING OTHER TREATMENTS
Treatment systems, methods, and apparatuses for improving the appearance of skin or other target regions are described as well as for providing for other treatments. Aspects of the technology are directed to improving the appearance of skin by tightening the skin, improving skin tone or texture, eliminating or reducing wrinkles, increasing skin smoothness, or improving the appearance of cellulite. Treatments can include cooling a surface of a patient's skin and detecting at least one freeze event in the cooled skin. The treatment system can continue cooling the patient's skin after the freeze event(s) are detected so to maintain at least a partially frozen state of the tissue for a period of time.
METHODS FOR TREATING INFLAMMATORY SYMPTOMS ASSOCIATED WITH PLANTAR FASCIITIS
The present invention relates to a method for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with plantar fasciitis in a foot. The method involves stretching gastrocnemius and soleus muscles associated with the foot by placing the sole of the foot on an inclined ramp surface and cooling at least one portion of the sole of the foot. The method may further involve providing localized pressure to at least one portion of the plantar fascia, and to a portion of the foot below the toes, to cause dorsiflexion thereof.
Temperature control agent, and heat-generating composition and warming device each using same
A means can be used instead of or with conventional temperature control to achieve warming device temperature control at a lower cost, prevent or reduce deterioration of a warming device over time, and lower generated heat temperature due to storage at high temperatures. The warming device can be used for the same. A higher level temperature control means can be used for warming devices for medical applications. An improved warming device can be used for medical applications with a high level of safety and efficacy. A temperature control agent controls a maximum temperature of a warming device with a heat generating composition that generates heat by reaction with oxygen. Said agent includes an aliphatic compound that has a particle form that will not pass through a standard sieve with a #60 mesh, a melting point of 35-65? C., and an aqueous solubility (g/100 mL) at 20? C. of ?5.
Medical devices for generating heat and methods of treatment using same
A device comprising a heat-generating component that comprises an alkali metal is provided. The alkali metal in the presence of water at a point of contact of the device undergoes an exothermic reaction to generate heat in situ. The amount of heat generated is proportional to and/or limited by the amount (or moles) of water at the point of contact, and the heat generated is sufficient to achieve an increase in temperature at the point of contact to achieve a therapeutic or beneficial result. In one embodiment, the device is used for reducing sweat production in a subject suffering from excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis. In other embodiments, the device is used to substantially sterilize a surface or render a surface substantially aseptic.

Method of controlling immune cells
A method for regulating immune cells includes applying a stimulus to a specific area to be stimulated at a body surface by a stimulus applying apparatus so as to bring an increase rate of a blood flow to 60% or more, preferably, 100% or more. The blood flow is measured by a laser Doppler tissue blood flow meter attached to a central part of an inner side of a wrist joint. The regulating and balancing these T cell groups finely is essential to maintain the immune system of human beings and increase in blood flow volume by thermal therapy enables a regulatory T cell to regulate and balance the immune cells.
Modifying humidity to glabrous tissue for the treatment of migraine and other conditions
Systems and methods for improving or preventing a condition, such as the treatment of pain syndromes and migraine headaches are disclosed. A method for treating pain can include one or more of the steps including identifying a region of the patient comprising glabrous tissue; positioning the region of the patient comprising glabrous tissue into an enclosed chamber; adjusting the relative humidity of the enclosed chamber sufficient to create a physiologic effect. The method need not involve altering the temperature within the enclosed chamber.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR WARM GAS THERAPY
Devices and method for warm gas therapy is provided. Device comprises a gas warmer assembly to warm a first gas to a temperature in a first temperature range to obtain warm first gas. The device comprises a first delivery unit that can deliver the warm first gas to a main treatment chamber which encloses a sub-treatment chamber to retain heat therein. A second delivery unit can receive a therapeutic gas from a gas supply. The second delivery unit comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion substantially passes through the first delivery unit and therapeutic gas in the first portion is warmed by the warm first gas. The second portion delivers the warm therapeutic gas to a sub-treatment chamber. The sub-treatment chamber encloses a body part of a patient.
