A simulation test system and method for vehicle road noise cancellation (RNC) are provided in one or more embodiments of the present disclosure. The simulation test system may include a vehicle RNC simulation system and a power amplifier. The vehicle RNC simulation system is configured to simulate an RNC system in a vehicle environment. The power amplifier is configured to execute an RNC algorithm and may perform data communication with the vehicle RNC simulation system. The vehicle RNC simulation system transmits acceleration data representing an acceleration signal and microphone data representing a microphone signal to the power amplifier as inputs to the RNC algorithm in the power amplifier. Moreover, the vehicle RNC simulation system may receive speaker data representing a speaker signal from the power amplifier. The vehicle RNC simulation system includes a secondary path simulation model and a signal flow simulation model.

A system and method for mitigating audio feedback may calculate a smoothed frequency spectrum of an audio signal. Previously detected candidate feedback tones may be obtained. Candidate feedback tones may be determined responsive to a frequency spectrum of the audio signal, the smoothed frequency spectrum and the previously detected candidate feedback tones. One or more signal characteristics associated with the audio signal and feedback coefficients associated with the candidate feedback tones may be obtained. The feedback coefficients may be modified responsive to the one or more signal characteristics. Actionable feedback tones may be determined responsive to the associated feedback coefficients exceeding a respective feedback threshold. Feedback suppression coefficients associated with each of the determined actionable feedback tones may be generated and may be utilized to suppress the actionable feedback tones.

The present disclosure provides a device and method for simulating a noise environment of a vehicle. The simulation system includes a memory configured to store a reference sample signal and a noise sample signal, a speaker configured to convert an electrical signal into a sound wave and output the sound wave, and a control unit configured to generate a reference signal based on the reference sample signal, generate a noise signal based on the noise sample signal, transmit the reference signal to a noise control system, output the noise signal through the speaker, and adjust at least one of a transmission time of a next reference signal or an output time of a next noise signal based on a reception time at which the noise control system receives the reference signal and a measurement time at which the noise control system measures the noise signal.

The first suppression circuit processes the sound, in which the first suppression circuit is configured to calculate a first suppression sound signal in which acoustic noise is suppressed from the sound by using a first algorithm suitable for multiple sound sources. The second suppression circuit processes the audio signal in parallel with the first suppression circuit, in which the second suppression circuit is configured to calculate a second suppression sound signal in which acoustic noise is suppressed from the sound signal by using a second algorithm suitable for a single sound source. The output signal selection circuit outputs only one of the first suppression audio signal and the second suppression audio signal.
