Centralized control of multiple active noise cancellation devices
The invention relates to a method for centralized control of multiple active noise cancellation devices. The method includes identifying a trigger event. Also, the method includes identifying at least one zone of a mapped area in response to identifying the trigger event. Further, the method includes identifying two or more devices based on the at least one zone of the mapped area, and transmitting a command to disable active noise cancellation on the two or more devices.
ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION SYSTEM
An active noise cancellation system for reducing unwanted noise in a target area by attenuating a disturbance noise signal (d(n)), which is the remaining noise in the target area originated from an ambient noise signal (x(n)) present in the vicinity of the target area that is transferred to the target area via a main path described by a transfer function P(z)), the active noise cancellation system including a processing unit that implements an ANC-controller which is configured to provide a control signal (y(n)) for controlling a speaker in the target area in order to generate an acoustic signal (y(n)) that destructively overlaps with the disturbance noise signal (d(n)) and thereby attenuates the same.
Sound output device
The present invention includes: a housing that includes an arrangement case in which an internal space is formed, and a sound guide tube in which a sound conduction space is formed; a feedback microphone to which an external sound is input; a first speaker unit that outputs a sound; and a second speaker unit that outputs a sound in an output band different from an output band of the sound output from the first speaker unit. The housing has inside a first space and a second space, the feedback microphone and the first speaker unit are arranged in the first space, the second speaker unit is arranged in the second space, and an equalizer that partitions the first space and the second space is disposed between the first speaker unit and the second speaker unit.
Interactive sound reproducing
An audio system attachable to a computer includes a sound reproduction device for producing audible sound from audio signals. The sound reproduction device includes a radio tuner and a powered speaker. The audio system further includes a connector for connecting the sound reproduction device with a computer. The computer provides audio signals from a plurality of sources, the sources including a computer CD player, digitally encoded computer files stored on the computer, and a computer network connected to the computer. The sound reproduction device further includes control buttons for controlling at least one of the computer CD player, the digitally encoded computer files and the computer network.
Active noise control system
A system includes an Active Noise Control (ANC) module unit configured to be installed within an air intake or exhaust of a power generation unit. The ANC module unit includes an ANC housing shaped to fit within the air intake or exhaust, an ANC core configured to be secured within the ANC housing, which includes a microphone configured to detect a sound generated by the power generation unit, a control board configured to control the noise-canceling sound based on the sound signal from the microphone and a set of pre-determined noise reduction transfer functions, and a first speaker configured to deliver a first noise-canceling sound to the air intake or exhaust.
Digital electroacoustic transducer apparatus
In the present invention, a digital electroacoustic transducer apparatus with a noise canceling system includes: a signal processing circuit that generates a digital processing signal based on a digital signal from a sound source; a first voice coil that receives the digital processing signal; a microphone that picks up noise and generates a noise signal; a noise canceling circuit that generates a cancel signal based on the noise signal; and a second voice coil that receives the cancel signal, the first voice coil and the second voice coil driving a diaphragm, thereby avoiding a difference between the phase of the cancel signal and the phase opposite to that of noise.
HELMHOLTZ RESONATORS WITH BROADBAND CAPABILITY
A method of using an acoustic resonator including receiving at a first stage of a resonator an incoming acoustic wave. The method further includes resonating the incoming wave with a flexible membrane, a taper of the flexible membrane, and a cavity of a first stage, thereby producing synergistic effect on a resulting acoustic resonance. Additionally, the method includes transforming an acoustic energy associated with the incoming acoustic wave into an elastic energy, wherein the elastic energy is channeled through the flexible membrane, thereby reducing an intensity of the incoming acoustic wave and resulting in a first reduced incoming acoustic wave. Further the method includes transferring the first reduced incoming acoustic wave through a hole of a neck of the flexible membrane. The method also includes transferring a first pressure wave caused by a perturbation in the flexible membrane into a second stage, thereby producing a second acoustic wave.
Calculating a social zone distance
For calculating a social zone distance, a processor determines distances to one or more persons using the sensor array. In addition, the processor calculates the social zone distance based on the distances.
WATERPROOF SOUND-TRANSMITTING SHEET
Disclosed is a waterproof sound-transmitting sheet, which includes a waterproof layer of a nonporous material and a support layer of a porous material, and maintains waterproof performance and sound transmission performance at a water pressure of about 10 atm. The disclosed waterproof sound-transmitting sheet includes a waterproof layer formed of a film shape of a nonporous material, a first adhesive layer having one surface adhered to one surface of the waterproof layer, and a support layer formed of a film shape of a porous material, and having one surface adhered to the other surface of the adhesive layer; and the support layer can be composed of metal mesh or nonwoven fabric.
Headphone Apparatus with Two Separated Acoustic Chambers
An apparatus including a noise acoustical chamber implement and an audio acoustical chamber implement. Said noise acoustical chamber is a generally sealed space to form first-stage passive noise reduction (PNR), wherein first vibratable diaphragms are disposed and first-stage active noise cancellation (ANC) signal processing are further implemented to reduce noise. Said audio acoustical chamber is another generally sealed space around eardrum and is enclosed by said noise acoustical chamber. Said audio acoustical chamber forms second-stage PNR, wherein second vibratable diaphragms are disposed to only generate sound wave of audio signal or at the same time utilize second-stage ANC signal processing to further reduce noise in said audio acoustical chamber.
