A device for reducing crosstalk in an audio system that has first and second pairs of loudspeakers and first and second audio sources. The device is connected to each audio source and to at least the first pair of loudspeakers. The device includes a module for acquiring first audio signals from the first source and second audio signals from the second source, a module for determining crosstalk reduction filters resulting from a loudspeaker of the second pair, a module for calculating corrective signals, by applying the reduction filters to the second audio signals, and a module for generating corrected audio signals for the first pair, obtained from the first audio signals and corrective signals. Each reduction filter is obtained from transfer functions, each representing an acoustic path between a loudspeaker and a user's ear.

IN-SEAT SOUND SUPPRESSION

A vehicle system includes a controller that is configured to (a) store a plurality of passenger profiles regarding passengers of a vehicle where each of the plurality of passenger profiles include pre-stored characteristics of a respective passenger associated therewith, (b) acquire passenger identifying data regarding a present passenger in the vehicle, (c) identify a respective passenger profile associated with the present passenger from the plurality of passenger profiles based on the passenger identifying data, and (d) control a speaker positioned within the vehicle based at least in part on the respective passenger profile to emit noise-canceling sound waves to generate a noise suppression zone to suppress sound waves perceived by the present passenger.

Active noise control system

In a first system signal processing unit, a first system auxiliary filter generates a correction signal for correcting an error signal from a noise signal, a first system subtractor subtracts the correction signal from an output of a first microphone to obtain an error signal, an adaptive filter performs an adaptive operation using the error signal to generate a cancel sound output from a first speaker, and a DMS detects a position of a user's ear. When the position of the user's ear moves, the controller stops the adaptive operation, updates the transfer function of the first system auxiliary filter to the transfer function corresponding to the noise cancel position matching the position of the user's ear, gradually changes the transfer function of the adaptive filter to the transfer function corresponding to the matching noise cancel position, and resumes the adaptive operation after the change is completed.

VOICE CONTROL DEVICE AND VOICE CONTROL SYSTEM

The voice control device includes a sound source signal input unit, a frequency determination unit, a band controller, a sound image controller, and a voice output unit. The sound source signal input unit inputs a sound source signal of content from a sound source. The frequency determination unit determines a cutoff frequency. The band controller acquires a high frequency signal in a frequency band equal to or higher than the cutoff frequency and a low frequency signal in a frequency band equal to or lower than the cutoff frequency, from the sound source signal of the content. The sound image controller generates a plurality of sound image control signals for controlling sound images of the plurality of speakers, by controlling at least one of a phase and a sound pressure level of the high frequency signal. The voice output unit outputs the low frequency signal to a first speaker, and outputs the plurality of sound image control signals to a second speaker composed of a plurality of speakers.

A noise reduction device includes a processor that converts a noise signal collected by a microphone disposed in a control space into a noise signal in a frequency domain, a storage that stores the converted noise signal in the frequency domain as a reference signal, and a signal generator that generates a noise reduction signal for reducing the noise signal collected by the microphone at a control position of the control space. The processor determines whether or not the noise signal is non-stationary noise based on a frequency characteristic of the converted noise signal in the frequency domain and a frequency characteristic of the reference signal. When it is determined that the noise signal is the non-stationary noise, the processor controls the signal generator so as to cancel generation of the noise reduction signal.

A vehicle system includes a controller that is configured to (a) store a plurality of passenger profiles regarding passengers of a vehicle where each of the plurality of passenger profiles include pre-stored identifying characteristics of a respective passenger associated therewith, (b) acquire passenger identifying data regarding a present passenger in the vehicle, (c) identify a respective passenger profile associated with the present passenger from the plurality of passenger profiles based on the passenger identifying data corresponding with the pre-stored identifying characteristics of the respective passenger profile, (d) control a speaker positioned within the vehicle based at least in part on the respective passenger profile to emit noise-canceling sound waves to generate a noise suppression zone to suppress sound waves perceived by the present passenger, (e) acquire movement data regarding movement of the present passenger within the vehicle, and (f) dynamically adjust the noise suppression zone based on the movement data.

A transfer function of a first variable filter is updated to output, from an output of a first seat microphone, a cancel sound that minimizes a level of a signal obtained by subtracting an output of an auxiliary filter that generates a correction signal for correcting a difference between positions of the first seat microphone and the first seat. In the ICC mode in which the uttered voice of the user in the first seat is output from a second seat speaker, a selector sets an uttered voice Dp output from the second seat speaker as an input to the first variable filter, and in the non-ICC mode, the selector sets an output sound of a second seat audio source output from the second seat speaker as an input to the first variable filter. The uttered voice Dp is generated by removing a component of the cancel sound from the output of the first seat microphone.
