In one embodiment, a hand apparatus, such as a glove or a mitten, with attachable securing members is disclosed. The hand apparatus can have a hand receiving portion, one or more finger portions, a thumb portion, and a body portion. The body portion comprises a dorsal side, a palm side, a first securing member, and a second securing member. The body portion can also comprise of a third securing member attached between the far side and near side of the body portion.
