Hilotherapy shoulder wrap and strap assembly
The hilotherapy wrap includes a conventional removable internal water bladder, an exterior cloth cover enclosing the bladder and a detachable strap assembly that allows the wrap to be donned and doffed by the user without assistance and using only one arm. The strap assembly includes a pair of elastic straps detachably connected to the cover by hook and loop fasteners affixed to a strap anchor and one of the strap ends. The strap assembly also includes a quick connect buckles and a slide or D-ring that allows both ends of the straps to be connected to the cover before tensioned snugly around the user.
DEFORMABLE THERMAL PACK
A thermal pack including: a flexible pouch body having a plurality of pouch segments each defining a cavity; and one or more hook and loop straps attached to a first end of the pouch body, where the pouch body has an opening for accepting a second end of the hook and loop strap for securing the pouch body to a body part. The thermal pack can also include a bendable and deformable support frame having at least two twisted wires on at least two longer sides of the pouch body and/or metallic cubes disposed in each of the cavities of the pouch segments, each of the metallic cubes having a metallic shell defining a cavity with a freezable substance.
Simultaneous thermal and cooling therapeutic device
A therapeutic device combines both hot and cold therapy to work simultaneously together. The therapeutic device has a first portion being made of a material capable of being heated to a first temperature and a second portion having a fastener capable of connecting to a cold pack having a second temperature. The application of both hot and cold to the site of an injury of a user stimulates blood circulation to an injured muscle with heat and reduces inflammation with cold to facilitate a faster and more efficient recovery process of the afflicted area.
POSTOPERATIVE FACIAL COOLING PACK
A modular cooling pack and method of cooling a head of a patient includes a first pocket, a first cooling capsule, a second pocket, a second cooling capsule, a third pocket, a third cooling capsule, and a securement strap. Each of the first, second, and third cooling capsules are respectively configured to be received within the first, second, and third pockets, cooled, and applied to the head of the patient. The securement strap is configured to receive the first, second, and third pockets thereagainst and at least partially define a closed loop configured to be received about the head of the patient to thereby removably secure the first, second, and third pockets against the head of the patient in at least one of a plurality of assembled configurations.
Cooling Sheet
A cooling sheet is provided. The cooling sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a moisture storage layer which stores therein moisture, an absorbing layer which is fused to one surface of the moisture storage layer to absorb the moisture and is applied with microcapsules containing a functional material, and a water repellent layer which is fused to the other surface of the moisture storage layer to be in contact with skin, prevents the moisture from escaping and absorbs air from outside. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a cooling sensation using heat of evaporation when in contact with skin while preventing moisture from escaping to the outside along seam lines.
COOLING NECK WRAP
A neck wrap for cooling down a neck area of a person. The neck wrap can be worn around a neck and have two pouches. Each of the two pouches can receive a liquid container that can be filled with cold liquid and optionally frozen. The two pouches having a contact area coming in contact with skin made of heat conductive material that can permit removing heat from the neck area by the cold liquid in the liquid containers when the neck wrap is worn around the neck.
MODULAR TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD
Described embodiments provide systems and methods for managing the temperature of an item that includes a first flap portion and a second flap portion defining between them a first pouch containing substance; a third flap portion and the second flap portion defining between them a second pouch containing substance; a first portion of a fastener attached to the front side of the first flap portion; a first complementary portion of the fastener attached to the obverse side of the second flap portion; a second complementary portion of the fastener attached to the obverse side of the third flap portion.
OIL THERAPY METHOD AND DEVICE
A oil treatment system, method and device are disclosed. An oil impregnated treatment pad is attachable to a carrier, with a heat pad attachable to the carrier, so as to deliver the treatment to a user with a heat source adjacent to the treatment pad.
Therapeutic travel and spa pillow
A therapeutic travel and spa pillow that can be used during travel for therapeutic purposes. In further detail, the therapeutic travel and spa pillow can be worn when riding in a transport vehicle such as, but not limited to, a train, bus, car, or plane in order to receive therapeutic benefits. The therapeutic travel and spa pillow includes a pillow body, a left strap, and a right strap . The pillow body is a cushioned support for the head and shoulders of the user. The left strap and the right strap allow the user to secure the therapeutic travel and spa pillow underneath his or her chin. This prevents the therapeutic travel and spa pillow from falling of the shoulders of the user. The left strap and the right strap are preferably cord-like strips of material.
