Grasp assist system with triple Brummel soft anchor
A grasp assist system includes a glove, finger saddles attached to a respective glove finger, one or more tendon actuators, and artificial tendons. The saddles have a rectangular body partially circumscribing a respective glove finger. Each saddle includes end lobes at opposite distal ends of the body. A first end of each tendon is secured to one of the tendon actuators. A second end forms a triple Brummel loop defining a main loop and two anchor loops. The anchor loops are disposed around the lobes. The saddles may form a rounded, double-headed arrow shape that is at least double the thickness of the body. The finger saddles are anisotropic, with different bending strengths depending on the axis, and may be constructed of thermoplastic polyurethane-coated nylon. Flexion and/or contact sensors and a controller, may be used. A method of connecting the tendon actuator to the finger is also disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLEANSING LARGE ANIMALS USING SCRUB GLOVES
Cleansing devices in the form of ergonomic scrub gloves for cleansing various surfaces including large animals and associated animal contact surfaces. The gloves include an inner layer, which is generally waterproof, with an outer layer comprising an abrasive weave.
GLOVE
An object of the present invention is to provide a glove which, while having a cuff, can be easily donned and removed using just one hand. The glove of the present invention includes: a glove main body including a main body portion; 5 finger-receiving portions each having a bottomed cylindrical shape; and a hem portion having a cylindrical shape; and a cuff which is joined to the hem portion of the glove main body, wherein the main body portion is formed in a pouch-like shape to cover a palm and a dorsal side of a wearer's hand, the 5 finger-receiving portions extend from the main body portion to cover each of a first finger to a fifth finger of the wearer, the hem portion extends in a direction opposite to the 5 finger-receiving portions, the cuff is arranged to protrude from the hem portion in a direction opposite to the 5 finger-receiving portions, a projection image of the cuff as viewed from a palm side thereof is a figure symmetrical with respect to a straight line and symmetrical with respect to an axis parallel to a direction of the protruding, the projection increasing in width as it becomes distant from the hem portion, and a flexural rigidity of the cuff is greater than a flexural rigidity of the hem portion of the glove main body, and a difference between the flexural rigidities is no less than 1.0 gf.cm.sup.2/cm.
All-inclusive one-piece electrical heating liner for articles of apparel
An all-inclusive electrical heating liner for use in the fabrication of articles of apparel is disclosed. It is comprised of a thermally insulating fabric piece which is shaped to define a dorsal panel and a pair of frontal panels to which are secured patterns of heating wires at specific locations. The spaced relationship between the dorsal panel and the pair of frontal panels is adjustable whereby the liner can be incorporated in articles of apparel of different sizes including small. Medium, large and X-large apparel sizes and gender types. The liner incorporates a power supply, controls, switches, wiring, connectors and other components thereby facilitating the incorporation of the liner into an article of apparel resulting in a cost reduction to the manufacturer of heated articles of apparel. Various embodiments are described to show that the all-inclusive one-piece heating liner is adaptable to many articles which require control heating.
Glove

VINYL GLOVE WITH COSMETIC PACK FUNCTION
The present invention relates to a vinyl glove with a cosmetic pack function having a shape of a finger glove having finger portions and a body, the vinyl glove including: cutting lines formed along the finger portions to separate given portions of the finger portions from the body; finger bonding portions formed toward the body by given distances with respect to the cutting lines in such a manner as to thermally bond tops and undersides of the finger portions to prevent the cosmetic liquid from leaking to the outside; and a wrist bonding portion formed inward toward the body by a given distance with respect to an insertion portion formed on a wrist portion of the body in such a manner as to thermally bond top and underside of the body to prevent a cosmetic liquid from leaking to the outside.
BOXING GLOVE
An improved boxing glove provides the athlete the ability to quickly don or remove the boxing glove over a smaller mixed martial arts glove allowing the athlete to quickly transition between event modes. The boxing glove has an open palmar face and a gap at a cuff end of the glove that readily accepts the MMA gloved hand of the user. The glove has a padded mitt at a distal end that receives the fingers of the user. The padding on a back side of the padded mitt is reduced to accommodate for a corresponding padding on a back side of the padded.
APPAREL WITH INTEGRATED GLOVES
The present invention is directed to upper-body apparel having integrated gloves, wherein the gloves can easily switch between a stowed position and a donned position. The apparel comprises a pair of sleeves, each sleeve having an opening configured for extending a hand, the sleeve having an upper portion and a lower portion, the sleeve opening having an upper segment and a lower segment each extending along circumference of the sleeve opening, the upper segment extends along the upper portion of the sleeve and the lower segment extends along the lower portion of the sleeve. A glove having a palm side, a rear side, and a glove opening, a palm segment of the periphery of the glove opening extends along the palm side of the glove, and a rear segment of the periphery of the glove opening extends along the rear side of the glove. A flap having a front edge and an opposite rear edge, the rear edge having two opposite corners, the flap is made of stretchable material. The upper segment of the sleeve opening is coupled to the rear segment of the glove opening. The palm segment of the glove opening is coupled to the front edge of the flap, the two opposite corners of the rear edge of the flap coupled to the upper portion of the sleeve. The glove is sandwiched between the upper portion of the sleeve and the flap.
Grasp assist system
A grasp assist system includes a glove having a glove palm and fingers, with the glove worn on a user's hand. A sensor measures flexion of the glove fingers, and thus a change of position and/or attitude of the fingers is determined. Finger saddles at least partially surround a phalange of a respective one of the user's fingers. The system uses one or more tendon actuators to pull on flexible tendons. Each tendon connects to a respective finger saddle. A controller is in communication with the actuators and sensor(s). The glove may use feedback from optional contact sensors to adjust tension, and may have a built-in restorative force. In executing a control method, the controller selectively applies tension to the tendons in response to finger flexion, via the tendon actuators, at a level sufficient for moving the user's fingers when the user executes a hand maneuver.
GLOVE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a glove with both flock-lined and unlined interior surfaces The glove generally comprises a hand region including a palm portion and a dorsal portion; a thumb region and four individual digit regions projecting away from one end of the hand region; and a cuff region extending outwardly from another end of the hand region opposing to the thumb region and the four individual digit regions. The cuff region terminates to a terminal end defining an opening for insertion of a user hand therein. Preferably, the hand region comprises flock lining on at least the interior surface of the palm portion or one or more selected areas on the interior surface of the palm portion. The cuff region is free from having any flock lining.
