To gloves and a method of manufacture
A glove of a type worn to provide masking effect between a wear's hand and another surface, such as surface of food stuff. The glove, or fragments thereof, is rendered detectable by X-ray and/or metal detection apparatus. Apparatus and/or indication means can be provided to allow a detected glove or glove portion to be allocated to a particular location and/or personnel to allow, if necessary, remedial action to be taken.
ARTICLE COMPRISING A RUBBER-LIKE FILM-BASED ARTICLE FIRMLY FIXED TO A SUBSTRATE
An article includes a substrate, and a film-based article comprising a non-crosslinked thermoplastic rubber. At least a portion of the film-based article is fixed to the substrate. In particular, said portion of the film-based article is firmly fixed to the substrate by heat sealing at a temperature of 190 to 250 C. for at least 1 second, without using a glue, an adhesive coating, or a corona discharge treatment.
GLOVE WITH FINGERTIP REGIONS HAVING A DIFFERENT APPEARANCE TO A REST OF THE GLOVE
An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.
Latex compositions and antistatic articles manufactured therefrom
A method for making rubber films with improved ESD (electrostatic discharge) property relates to a method for making better ESD gloves using improved rubber composition with a precipitated CaCO.sub.3 filler. In addition, non-metallic filled organic pigment such as AZO compounds are suggested to make better ESD gloves. Additionally, other improved method steps such as chlorination and addition of Carbon Black in conjunction with chlorination are suggested to make better ESD gloves.
ACRYLIC BLOCK COPOLYMER, (METH)ACRYLIC BLOCK COPOLYMER LATEX, (METH)ACRYLIC BLOCK COPOLYMER LATEX COMPOSITION, AND SHAPED OBJECT
A (meth)acrylate-based block copolymer including a polymer block and a (meth)acrylate-based polymer block, wherein: the (meth)acrylate-based block copolymer contains 5 to 30% by mass of the polymeric block and 70 to 95% by mass of the (meth)acrylate-based polymer block with respect to 100% by mass of the (meth)acrylate-based block copolymer; the polymer block has a monomer unit derived from a monomer; when the monomer is polymerized alone, a polymer with a glass transition temperature of 80? C. or higher can be obtained; and a tensile strength at break measured in accordance with JIS K 6251 of a film obtained by immersion-molding a (meth)acrylate-based block copolymer latex containing the (meth)acrylate-based block copolymer and heat-treating at 130? C. for 30 minutes is 14 MPa or more.
System and method for enhancing sterility
A system for enhancing sterility. The system includes a first surgical glove comprising an upper glove portion and a lower glove portion. A surgical garment comprising at least one surgical garment cuff, and a sealing device comprising a first adhesive. The first adhesive of the sealing device is configured to be affixed between an inside surface of the lower portion of the first surgical glove and an outside surface of the at least one surgical garment cuff so as to provide a fluid seal between the first surgical glove and the at least one surgical garment cuff of the surgical garment.
Latex formulation and X-ray detectable glove prepared thereof
A glove that is X-ray detectable prepared from a latex formulation comprises a base polymer, an accelerator, a vulcanizing agent, a surfactant, a pH adjuster, an antifoaming agent and a thickener characterized in that the latex formulation further includes radiocontrast filler, wherein the radiocontrast filler comprises a radiocontrast agent, a surfactant, a thickener and a solvent, wherein the radiocontrast filler is used in an amount of at least 10 phr of the latex formulation and wherein the radiocontrast filler has total solid content of 45%.
Method and system for detection of presence in predefined location and delivery thereto
Methods and systems of detection of presence in and delivery to location are provided. A method detects a presence of a mobile device within a perimeter of a geographic region. The method searches a database to determine whether the first mobile device is associated with any existing account. Responsive to determining that the mobile device is associated with a first account, the method searches the database to determine whether there is any pending task associated with the first account. Responsive to determining that there is a pending task associated with the first account, the method transmits a first message indicating the detection of presence of the mobile device associated with the first account. The method determines that the mobile device is at least approximately at a first location of a plurality of predefined locations within the perimeter. The method transmits information associated with the first location to the computing device.
RUBBER COMPOSITE, PROCESSING METHOD, HIGH-STRENGTH PRODUCT APPLYING COMPOSITE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
The present invention discloses a rubber composition. The rubber composition includes a rubber matrix and a crosslinking system. The rubber matrix includes, in parts by weight, the following components: a branched polyethylene with a content represented as A, in which 0<A100, an EPM with a content represented as B, in which 0B<100, and an EPDM with a content represented as C, in which 0C<100. Based on 100 parts by weight of said rubber matrix, the content of the crosslinking system is represented as D: 1D15 parts. The crosslinking system includes at least one of a crosslinking agent and an auxiliary crosslinking agent.
