DISPOSABLE HYGENIC CLEANING MITT
A disposable cleaning mitt includes a waterproof inner layer having proximal and distal ends and defining a pliable cavity configured to encase a wearer's hand. The inner layer includes an opening at the proximal end for passing the wearer's hand therethrough to enter and exit the cavity. A cleaning layer is disposed on the inner layer such that the inner layer is between the cleaning layer and the cavity. A tab is situated and accessible from inside the cavity, the tab being operatively coupled to the inner layer and the cleaning layer such that passing the tab through the opening inverts the inner layer and the cleaning layer and undelineates the cavity. The tab is configured to be pulled by at least one finger of the wearer's hand. A fastener is positioned adjacent the opening for sealing the cleaning layer inside the inner layer.
Method of producing an article comprising a rubber-like film-based article firmly fixed to a substrate
The present invention relates to a method including a rubber-like film-based article of which at least a portion is firmly fixed to a substrate. The method includes providing a film-based article made of a non-crosslinked thermoplastic rubber, contacting at least a portion of the film-based article with a substrate so as to form a contact area between the film-based article and the substrate, and heat sealing at least a portion of the contact area at a temperature of 190 to 250° C. for at least 1 second.
Latex composition, shaped object obtained therefrom, and method for producing said shaped object
The polyisoprene-containing latex composition of the present it comprises the following components (a) and (b): (a) zinc ethylphenyldithiocarbamate; and (b) 1-o-tolylbiguanide. Thus, a molded article of the latex composition has high tensile strength. Further, even after the latex composition is stored for a longer period of time than before, a decrease in the tensile strength of the obtained molded article is suppressed.
GLOVE
A glove that is detectable by a metal detector. The glove is prepared from latex formulation including a metallic additive. The metallic additive includes a pigment, a surfactant and a solvent. The metallic additive is used in an amount of at least 10 phr based on an amount of a latex formulation.
DISPOSABLE GARMENT AND DONNING SYSTEM
A donning system allows a user to don disposable garments without contaminating the exterior of the garment. The disposable garment is part of a garment package, which also includes a cuff by which the garment is loaded into and dispensed from the donning system. The cuff includes elements whereby multiple garments are simultaneously loaded, but the garments are dispensed and donned one at a time. The donning system can include multiple cartridges allowing the user to don multiple garments simultaneously, such as right and left gloves or shoe covers. The donning system can include multiple chambers allowing the system to dispense garments of different sizes.
Latex composition
A latex composition containing a conjugated diene polymer latex and a medium-chain fatty acid glyceride, wherein a content proportion of the medium-chain fatty acid glyceride is 1 to 40 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the conjugated diene polymer. In the present invention, a medium-chain fatty acid forming the medium-chain fatty acid glyceride is preferably a fatty acid having 6 to 18 carbon atoms. In the present invention, the medium-chain fatty acid glyceride is preferably a medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride. The latex composition preferably further contains a crosslinking agent.
Glove with fingertip regions having a different appearance to a rest of the glove
An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.
DIP MOLDING COMPOSITION, METHOD OF PRODUCING GLOVE, AND GLOVE
Provided is a dip molding composition including, at least: an elastomer that contains a (meth)acrylonitrile-derived structural unit, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit, and a butadiene-derived structural unit in a polymer main chain; an epoxy crosslinking agent; water; and a pH modifier, in which dip molding composition the elastomer contains the (meth)acrylonitrile-derived structural unit in an amount of 20 to 40% by weight, the unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit in an amount of 1 to 10% by weight, and the butadiene-derived structural unit in an amount of 50 to 75% by weight, and the epoxy crosslinking agent includes an epoxy crosslinking agent containing an epoxy compound having three or more epoxy groups in one molecule and has a dissolution rate in water of 10 to 70% as determined by a specific measurement method.
Synthetic elastomeric article and method for the production thereof
The present application relates to an elastomeric article, such as a glove, comprising: (i) an elastomeric film comprising one or more film layers, and including an external surface and an internal surface, (ii) an antimicrobial agent that is effective against both beneficial and harmful microorganisms on the external surface of the elastomeric film, and (iii) a skin-protective agent selected from a probiotic, a prebiotic, or a combination thereof on the internal surface of the elastomeric film; wherein the inner surface of the film is free of an antimicrobially-effective amount of an antimicrobial agent that is effective against both beneficial and harmful microorganisms. The elastomeric articles may further comprise a barrier film layer that provides separation between the antimicrobial agent and the skin-protective agent. Also described are methods for the manufacture of such articles.
