DATA STORAGE MANAGEMENT AND SCHEDULING SYSTEM
A data storage management and scheduling system schedules the recording, storing, and deleting of television and Web page program material on a client system storage medium. A schedule of time versus available storage space is generated that is optimal for the viewer's scheduled program recordings. The programs include television broadcast programs and Universal Resource Locators (URLs). A program is recorded if at all times between when the recording would be initiated and when it expires, sufficient space is available to hold it. All scheduling conflicts are resolved as early as possible.
Data generation apparatus, data generating method, data reproduction apparatus, and data reproducing method
The present technique relates to a data generation apparatus, a data generating method, a data reproduction apparatus, and a data reproducing method capable of enabling a user to enjoy an HDR image. HDR information designated by HDR designating information is acquired from a file storing a track of a stream including the HDR information which is configured with feature information representing features of luminance of an HDR (high dynamic range) image having a dynamic range higher than that of an STD (standard) image and conversion information representing a conversion rule of converting the one of the STD image and the HDR image into the other and a target track including the HDR designating information designating the HDR information which is to be applied to the target track of interest in the HDR information of the track. The present technique can be applied, for example, to the case of applying HDR information to a subtitle having an SMPTE-TT format using XML.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and recording medium
The present invention comprises an input part for inputting image data, a receiving part for receiving production information relating to production transmitted from another apparatus, a recording part for recording the production information received by the receiving part and image data input by the input part, a detection part for detecting a recording position on a recording medium at an editing point of image data recorded by the recording part, and a transmission part for transmitting information of the recording position detected by the detection part, whereby identification information for identifying image data and voice data is recorded in a recording medium or a recording device, this relieving a burden on a photographer and an editor and facilitating extraction of image data and voice data.
AUDIO-VISUAL PROJECT GENERATOR
Embodiments disclosed herein enable a user to generate an audio-visual project. Certain embodiments enable a user to use one of a plurality of predefined templates to generate a project easily and quickly. Other embodiments enable a user to generate a custom project that gives more control to the user, compared to if the user selected one of the predefined templates. Each project includes one or more segments, which may be specified by a user directly, or may be specified by the template selected by the user. An effect is applied to each segment, wherein the effect specifies how many video and audio slots are included in the segment, if any, and can specify one or more other properties of the segment. Projects generated using embodiments disclosed herein can be saved and shared with other users.
Image coding device, image decoding device, image coding method, and image decoding method
An intra-scene and inter-scene adaptive coding unit 6 converts an MPEG-2 video bit stream into a slave stream by using both coded data which is included in the coded data about scene video units in a master stream recorded in a data recording unit 2 and for which alternative coded data to be used for prediction reference has not been retrieved by an inter-scene prediction determining unit 5, and coded data retrieved by the inter-scene prediction determining unit 5 for the prediction reference.
AUTOMATIC SELECTION OF VIDEO FROM ACTIVE CAMERAS
A method according to one embodiment includes: receiving, by a processing system, sensor data from a sensor device carried by a user or attached to the user's sports equipment during a sporting activity; identifying, by the processing system and based on the sensor data, an event engaged in by the user during a time period; determining, based on the sensor data, a position of the user during the event; identifying a camera that is operational and has the user in view during at least a portion of the time period; and selecting video footage of the event from the identified camera.
USER INTERFACE LEVEL TUTORIALS
User interface level tutorials can be provided based upon recording as a tutorial a script and/or a video at a user interface level of progression through application-specific actions. Access to the tutorial can be provided based upon detection of an access to an application and/or a difficulty with the application.
Video management system and method for event recording using the same
Provided is a video management apparatus and a method for event recording using the same, which are capable of reducing loss of video data in an event recording. The video management apparatus performs an event recording in cooperation with a network camera to transmit a first frame with basic information of video data and a plurality of second frames with changed information of the video data. The video management apparatus includes a buffer unit to store the first and the plurality of second frames, and eliminate the stored frames according to an external control signal. The video management apparatus further includes an event recording unit to save the first frame and at least one of the second frames stored in the buffer unit, and when detecting an occurrence of events, and frames transmitted from the network camera after the detection of the occurrence of events on a storage medium.

Apparatuses, methods and systems for a digital conversation management platform
The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A DIGITAL CONVERSATION MANAGEMENT PLATFORM (DCM-Platform) transforms digital dialogue from consumers, client demands and, Internet search inputs via DCM-Platform components into tradable digital assets, and client needs based artificial intelligence campaign plan outputs. In one implementation, The DCM-Platform May capture and examine conversations between individuals and artificial intelligence conversation agents. These agents may be viewed as assets. One can measure the value and performance of these agents by assessing their performance and ability to generate revenue from prolonging conversations and/or ability to effect sales through conversations with individuals.
