System and method for media synchronization and collaboration
An improved recording device and method of recording involve a communications interface that establishes communications with a common clock reference across a network, a data storage, and a processor that controls the storing in the data storage of a metadata file with at least one of a recorded media data file or a recorded sensor data file. The metadata file includes a time sample received from the common clock reference.
REAL TIME VIDEO SPECIAL EFFECTS SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present technology is a video recording system and method of recording a video while applying special effects in real time prior to and/or while recording. The system includes a processing unit in communication with a camera and a memory unit. The processor receives a raw video data at a native speed rate from the camera or remote video stream, and an input from an interface. The system determines if the native speed rate of the raw video data is to be changed, and if so then modifies at least one frame in the raw video data to create a modified video data at a modified speed rate that is different to the native speed rate. The system then generates an output video recording data and writes it to memory. This allows for the continuous recording of video from the camera or video feed at different speed rates without altering camera operations or settings.

INTELLIGENT PRINT RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for interactive printed media are disclosed in which a mobile or wearable computing device has an application that captures an image of a piece of printed media and associates a link to the piece of printed media using a backend component to make the piece of printed media interactive. The system and method may be used to generate a piece of printed media that is interactive that may be sent to third parties or to make an existing piece of printed media interactive.

Method and system for provisioning an electronic device
This application discloses a method of provisioning an electronic device. The electronic device establishes a communication link with a client device that can obtain network credentials for accessing a secure wireless network. The network credentials is configured to enable the electronic device to independently access the secure wireless network. The client device encrypts at least a portion of the network credentials using a password key provided by a remote server. The password key is based on a secret not known to the client device, and the secret is associated with the electronic device at the remote server. The client device sends the encrypted network credentials to the electronic device over the established communication link, thereby allowing the electronic device to recover the network credentials based on the secret and access the secure wireless network using the network credentials.

Motion stills experience
Implementations disclose a user interface for viewing and combining media items into a video. A method includes presenting a user interface facilitating a creation of a video from a plurality of media items, the user interface comprising a first portion concurrently playing a first media item and a second media item of the plurality of media items; receiving user input indicating a selection of the first media item in the first portion of the user interface; in response to determining that the user input is of a first type, adding the first media item to a set of selected media items, and presenting the set of selected media items in a second portion of the user interface; and creating the video from the set of selected media items.
