News production system with DVE template feature
In one aspect, an example method involves: accessing, by a computing system, data associated with an election; using, by the computing system, the accessed data to make a determination that a status of the election satisfies each condition in a condition set; based, at least in part, on the determination, selecting, by the computing system, a particular digital video-effect (DVE) template configured to facilitate generation of a DVE having a particular attribute; and executing, by the computing system, the selected DVE template, thereby causing the computing system to generate a video stream representing video content.
Image Annotation for Image Auxiliary Information Storage and Retrieval
Embodiments of the present invention provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and computer program product for image annotation for image auxiliary information storage and retrieval. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for image annotation for image auxiliary information storage and retrieval is provided. The method includes loading a digital image into memory of a computer and selecting separately stored auxiliary information for the digital image. A network location of the auxiliary information can be encoded. Finally, the encoding can be embedded into the digital image.

INTERACTIVE ADAPTIVE NARRATIVE PRESENTATION
A narrative presentation system may include at least one optical sensor capable of detecting objects added to the field-of-view of the at least one optical sensor. Using data contained in signals received from the at least one optical sensor, an adaptive narrative presentation circuit identifies an object added to the field-of-view and identifies an aspect of a narrative presentation logically associated with the identified object. The adaptive narrative presentation circuit modifies the aspect of the narrative presentation identified as logically associated with the identified object.
Sequential Method for the Presentation of Images with Enhanced Functionality, and Apparatus Thereof
A method involving associating a first audio track to a first image stored in memory means associated with a processor; associating a second audio track to a second image stored in said memory means; selecting said first image and said second image for sequential presentation; reproducing said first image for a first length of time of said first audio track; and subsequently reproducing said second image for a second length of time of said second audio track. The step of associating a first audio track to a first image and the step of associating a second audio track to a second image provide for storing a first identification code of the first audio track in first metadata of said at least first image, and storing a second identification code of the second audio track in second metadata of said at least one second image.

Mapping pixels to underlying assets in computer graphics
A system for presenting video and methods for manipulating and delivering the video are presented. An interface may be implemented to access data related to the creation and animation of the video, a reference to the creation data stored with the video itself. Upon selection a portion of the video, using the references stored with the video, the tools needed to edit the selected portion of the video may be presented. The objects and illustration assets utilized to animate a scene may be stored in a memory device such that the objects and assets may be retrieved using a hierarchy of references initially accessed via the reference stored with the selected portion of the video. According to an embodiment, the selected portion may be a frame or a pixel and the reference stored with the frame metadata, pixel value, or image channel or image layer.
