Adapter for Video Recorders
This invention relates to an adapter for recording to removable storage device from a certain family of digital video recorders. More particularly, this adapter allows AJA® Video Systems, Inc's Ki Pro® and Ki Pro® Rack digital video recorders to record to removable storage devices such as a hard disk drive or solid state drive.
Base for protecting external welds of hermetically sealed electronic devices
Described herein is a hard disk drive that includes a base and a cover. The base includes a closed end, sidewalls, an open end, and one or more corner portions. The sidewalls extend from the closed end, and the open end is defined by the sidewalls. The closed end, sidewalls, and open end define an interior cavity of the hard disk drive. Each corner portion is proximate a respective intersection of the sidewalls and positioned exteriorly of the interior cavity. The cover is welded to the sidewalls over the open end by a weld bead such that the weld bead is positioned between the interior cavity and the corner portions. The weld bead hermetically seals the cover to the base. Furthermore, at least one of the corner portions is at least substantially flush with the cover.
Disk drive base unit with communicating groove extending outside outer circumferential portion of connector
A base member of a disk drive apparatus includes a window portion, a first groove, and a communicating groove. The window portion passes through a bottom plate portion of the base member in an axial direction. The first groove is defined in an upper surface of the bottom plate portion around the window portion. A connector includes a board portion and an electrode terminal on a lower surface of the board portion. The board portion is on the upper surface of the bottom plate portion to cover the window portion, the first groove, and a portion of the communicating groove. The communicating groove extends from the first groove up to a position outside of an outer circumferential portion of the connector. An adhesive layer is between the upper surface of the bottom plate portion and the lower surface of the board portion.
DISK DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a housing including a sidewall, a magnetic disk, a wireless communication device including a first communication antenna, and a first insulating member. The sidewall includes a first through portion. The first insulating member closes the first through portion. The first communication antenna is located in the first through portion, is disposed spaced from the housing, and wirelessly communicates with an outside of the housing.
Lever unit
An assembly to connect two electronic components is provided herein. The assembly includes a lever unit with a lever and a base. The lever includes a primary cam member and a secondary cam member connected thereto. The lever also includes a hook member extending therefrom. The base includes a guide structure to engage with a drive pin. Rotation of the lever to move a first electronic component along a y-axis towards, a backplane. The secondary cam member to move the drive pin along the guide structure, and the hook member to engage with a second electronic component and mate the first electronic component and the second electronic component along the second axis.
Adhesive Leak Channel Structure For Hermetic Sealing Of A Hard Disk Drive
In the context of a hard disk drive (HDD), an adhesive leak channel structural feature is positioned in an area at which an electrical feed-through is adhered with an adhesive to an enclosure base, where the leak channel feature inhibits the leakage of gas through the adhesive. Embodiments include providing the leak channel feature on the base and/or on the feed-through. Embodiments may further include application of an electrodeposition coating to the base in an area at which the adhesive is in contact.
DRIVE ASSEMBLY, CHASSIS ASSEMBLY, AND SERVER DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a drive assembly, a chassis assembly, and a server device. The drive assembly comprises: a drive having a first end extending in a direction perpendicular to a length direction of the drive and a first side extending in a direction perpendicular to a width direction of the drive, wherein the drive interface is provided at the first end of the drive; and an adapter having first and second interfaces that are electrically connected with each other, wherein the first interface is plugged into the drive interface, and the second interface is adjacent to the first side of the drive so as to be electrically coupled to other components.
CABLE MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES FOR COMPUTING SYSTEMS
Cable management systems, devices, and associated methods of installation and operation are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, an enclosure for holding computer components includes a front panel, a back panel, and a side panel between the front panel and the back panel. The side panel has a first side facing an interior space of the enclosure and a second side facing away from the first side. The enclosure also includes a guide panel proximate to the side panel, the guide panel being spaced apart from the second side of the side panel by a gap extending at least partially between the front panel and the back panel. The enclosure also includes a cable anchor located in the gap between the side panel and the guide panel.
DISK DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a housing including a hole, a magnetic disk, a control board closing the hole, and an electronic component. The electronic component is mounted on the control board, and assists a control operation for recording and reproducing information on and from the magnetic disk.
Disk device with wiring board on outer surface of housing and connected to motor and sealing configuration
According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a housing with a bottom wall, magnetic disks supported on a hub of a motor, a printed circuit board provided on an outer surface of the bottom wall, and a wiring board attached on the outer surface of the bottom wall. The bottom wall includes a recess formed in the outer surface, a step located on border between the outer surface and the recess, and through holes opened to the recess. The wiring board includes one end portion disposed in the recess and connection pads on the one end portion, connected to lead wires of a coil. An adhesive is filled into the recess and the through holes, and covers the one end and a solder joint and seals the through holes.
