Hard disk carrier
A hard disk carrier includes a tray bracket and a turnover bracket rotatably arranged on the tray bracket. The tray bracket includes a first side wall, a second side wall parallel to the first side wall, and a bottom wall connecting the first side wall and the second side wall. wherein The turnover bracket includes two turnover arms rotatably arranged on the bottom wall between a first angle at which the turnover arms being received in the bottom wall and a first receiving space is defined between the first side wall and the second side wall and a second angle at which the turnover arms turns out from the bottom wall and a second receiving space is defined between the two turnover arms. A size of the second receiving space is different from that of the first receiving space.
FIXING MECHANISM
A fixing mechanism, applied to an electronic device to fix an electronic module. The fixing mechanism comprises a casing, a fixing structure and a locking structure. The casing includes a baseplate and a side plate to define a space to accommodate the electronic module, and the side plate has a hole and a seat. The fixing structure includes a fixing element and a pressing portion. The fixing element movably extends from the outer side of the side plate into the space through the hole. The pressing portion is rotatably disposed on the combining seat, and includes a first part having an opening and a second part corresponding to the fixing element. The locking structure is movably set in the opening, and includes an engaging element. When the engaging element is engaged in the opening, the locking structure presses against the side plate to fix the pressing portion.
Apparatus and methods for mounting information handling system hardware components
Apparatus and methods may be provided that may include a single bracket (e.g., a single universal support or anchor bracket) capable of operably mounting or supporting multiple diverse configurations of system hardware components (e.g., such as solid state drive (SSD) cards) to an existing motherboard or other system support component/surface on or within the same system chassis of an information handling system.
Optical disc drive and electronic equipment
A conveying roller contacts and conveys an optical disc toward a position of a spindle motor when the conveying roller is in a first roller position, and does not contact the optical disc when the conveying roller is in a second roller position. A slider places the conveying roller in the first roller position when the slider is in a first operation member position, and places the conveying roller in the second roller position when the slider is in a second operation member position. A first transmission mechanism transmits rotation of a loading motor to the conveying roller. A second transmission mechanism transmits the rotation of the loading motor to the slider. A distribution mechanism engages with each of the first transmission mechanism and the second transmission mechanism to distribute the rotation of the loading motor to the first transmission mechanism and the second transmission mechanism.
Fixing mechanism for electronic device
ENCLOSING A PORTABLE SOLID STATE DEVICE
Apparatus and associated methodology contemplating an enclosure apparatus for a solid-state device (SSD). The apparatus includes a rigid case having a wall defining an internal cavity. A surface in the wall defines one of a recess or a protuberant tab exposed to the internal cavity. A cover is configured to connect with the case in a closed position in which the cover and the case are connected together to cooperatively enclose the internal cavity. The cover defines the other of the recess or the tab, the tab sized to be removably insertable into the recess to form an articulable joint connecting the cover and the case together in the closed position.
Locating device
A locating device includes a guiding member, a sliding member and a pulling assembly. The guiding member includes a guiding channel inwardly cut through a top thereof, and the sliding member has side plates which each has a locating part. The pulling assembly comprises a pulling body having a guiding element, a fastening element disposed on a side thereof opposite to the guiding element. When the pulling body is in an open state, the fastening element is not located on the locating part; when the pulling body performs a locking operation, the guiding element is slid in the guiding channel and the sliding member is simultaneously slid in another direction opposite to the guiding element; when the pulling body is in a locked state, the fastening element is located on the locating part. Therefore, operational difficulty can be reduced and assembly speed can be improved.
DISK DRIVE
A disk drive includes a case having an outer surface, a recording medium and a magnetic head disposed inside the case, a board disposed outside the case and is electrically connected to the magnetic head, an electronic component mounted on a mounting surface of the board that faces the outer surface, and a heat conduction member having a hole and compressed between the electronic component and the outer surface in a thickness direction of the disk drive to thermally couple the electronic component to the case.
Support apparatus
A support apparatus for supporting a hard disk drive in a computer system to enable hard disk replacement under hot-swap operations, the apparatus comprises a rail, a primary bracket coupled to the rail, and a cage to which a hard disk drive is mountable and coupled to the primary bracket. The rail is mountable to a base element such as a main board or the chassis of a computer system. The cage is movable relative to the rail from an operating position to a first cage position, and subsequently from the first cage position toward a second cage position to provide a clearance space in front of the cage, in order to allow the hard disk drive mounted in the cage to be drawn out from the cage for replacement under hot-swap operations.
