An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a first riser module, a hard-disk backplane module, and a plurality of hard-disks. The first riser module is disposed in the housing. The first riser module includes a first tray structure and a first riser board. The first riser board is disposed on the first tray structure. The first tray structure is adapted to move the first riser board in a first direction. The hard-disk backplane module is disposed in the housing. The tray structure is adapted to move the first riser board in the first direction to connect the hard-disk backplane module. The hard-disks are connected to the hard-disk backplane module. The modules of the electronic device of the embodiment of the invention can be coupled together more easily.

Storage system

A storage system includes a chassis, a storage module, and a controller module. The storage module and the controller module are mounted to the chassis. The storage module includes a housing, a storage member, and an adapter plate. The storage member is fixed to the housing and is configured to store data. The adapter plate is fixed to the housing and is detachably connected to the storage member and the controller module.

One of the first pair of brackets is pivotably coupled to one of the second pair of brackets.

PACKAGE GROUNDING SYSTEM

A system including an analog block and a digital block. The analog block and the digital block are arranged on a package. The package includes a first ground coupled to the analog block and a second ground coupled to the digital block. The second ground is physically separate from the first ground. The package also includes a noise-mitigation stitching connector that has a first end connected to the first ground and a second end connected to the second ground.

Hard drive assembly with onboard tuned data memory

A hard disk assembly (HDAs) that include a tuning data memory at least including tuning data regarding the HDA. The HDAs may lack an internal disk controller, but rather may communicate the tuning data and/or other HDA-specific data (e.g., firmware, certification data, etc.) to a reader device comprising a disk controller. In this regard, the reader device may coordinate with the HDA once the tuning data is received to operate the HDA to perform TO commands in response to commands received at the reader device from a host. In turn, upon failure of an HDA, a new HDA may be swapped into place to communicate with the reader device. Because the HDAs may lack onboard disk controllers, the cost and complexity of each HDA may be reduced.

The substrate includes a first connection area and a second connection area. The first connection area is adjacent to the second connection area. The first connection area includes a first post. The second connection area includes a second post and a third post. In a first state, the first interface module is disposed in the first connection area. The second interface module is disposed in the second connection area. In a second state, the third interface module is disposed in the first connection area and the second connection area. The case is adapted to be selectively connected to different types of storage units.

Server

The disclosure provides a server, including a casing, a host assembly, a data storage assembly and a power supply assembly. The casing includes a bottom plate, a first side plate, a second side plate and a straight partition. The first side plate, the second side plate and the straight partition are connected to the bottom plate. The first side plate and the second side plate are respectively located at two opposite sides of the bottom plate. The straight partition is located between the first side plate and the second side plate. The host assembly is slidably disposed on the second side plate and the straight partition. The data storage assembly is slidably disposed on the first side plate and the straight partition. The power supply assembly is located between the first side plate and the straight partition and electrically connected to the host assembly and the data storage assembly.

Disk drive server

A server box embodiment is disclosed that generally comprises an array of dummy HDDs that share a common set of universal disk drive components in a master components module, or power module. Each dummy HDDs is constructed without expensive onboard chipsets that control the normal functionality of a standard HDD. By sharing expensive chipsets in a master components module (power module) money can be saved in building and selling the dummy HDD server. Embodiments envision a power module possessing the needed chipset functionality that is missing in a dummy HDD. The power module can be made to move from dummy HDD to dummy HDD supplying the necessary chipset in a shared manner when data is being stored or retrieved for client or end-user.

According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a housing with a bottom wall, magnetic disks supported on a hub of a motor, a printed circuit board provided on an outer surface of the bottom wall, and a wiring board attached on the outer surface of the bottom wall. The bottom wall includes a recess formed in the outer surface, a step located on border between the outer surface and the recess, and through holes opened to the recess. The wiring board includes one end portion disposed in the recess and connection pads on the one end portion, connected to lead wires of a coil. An adhesive is filled into the recess and the through holes, and covers the one end and a solder joint and seals the through holes.

The adapter device includes a base circuit board having opposite first and second surfaces, multiple first connectors disposed on the first surface along a first direction and connected to the base circuit board, and multiple second connectors disposed on the second surface along the first direction in pairs, each of which is arranged along a second direction, is connected to the base circuit board and is disposed between adjacent two of the first connectors. Each of the storage modules is connected to a corresponding first connector. Each of the controllers is connected to a corresponding second connector.
