Hard disk drive bracket

A hard disk drive bracket is configured to be fixed within a hard disk drive holder and includes a support portion, a tray and an elastic piece. The tray is connected to a side of the support portion and has a chassis and a sidewall protruding form a side of the chassis. The elastic piece is suspended above the tray and has a first end fixed to the support portion and a second end forming a hook. The elastic piece and the tray form a holding space therebetween for holding a hard disk drive. When the hard disk drive is inserted into the chassis along a bending direction of the second end of the elastic piece, the second end lifts to hold the hard disk drive between the chassis and the elastic piece. The sidewall fixes the hard disk drive on the chassis with the cooperation of the elastic piece.

Casing

This disclosure relates to casing, including tray, first pivot, guiding component, housing box and handle. The tray has bottom surface and first side surface. The first pivot is fixed on the first side surface. The guiding component disposed on the first side surface includes distal opening and base closed end, which is closer to the bottom surface than the distal opening and located between the distal opening and the first pivot. The housing box includes first side and second side. The first side is pivotably disposed at the first pivot, and the second side has insertion opening. The housing box has second side surface located between the first side and the second side. The handle pivotably disposed on the second side surface includes hold part and pin. The guiding component is located between the hold part and the first pivot. The pin is located at the base closed end.

Cover plate for chassis

A cover plate for locking a chassis includes a first cover section provided on top of the chassis, a second cover section provided on top of the chassis and having a positioning pin, and a resilient lock defining a through hole corresponding to the positioning pin. When the resilient lock is in a first position, the positioning pin is latched in the through hole, one end of the first cover section abuts against one end of the second cover section, and the cover plate is locked. When the resilient lock is in a second position, the positioning pin is removed from the through hole, the first cover section is slid toward the second cover section, and the cover plate is unlocked.

Technology is provided for a memory drive storage tray. The memory drive storage tray includes a frame that defines one or more drive bays, each configured to contain a memory drive. Each drive bay includes an associated drive connector for interfacing the memory drive with the memory drive storage tray. Each drive bay also includes a first retainer tab positioned on the frame adjacent the drive connector and a second retainer tab, longer than the first retainer tab, positioned on the frame opposite the first retainer tab. A resilient member, such as a leaf spring, is centrally positioned in the drive bay opposite the drive connector to urge the memory drive toward the drive connector. The resilient member holds the memory drive in place against the drive connector and under the first and second retainer tabs.

Modular design to support variable configurations of front chassis modules

A chassis assembly includes a rack chassis and a block assembly. The rack chassis includes a left side panel and a right side panel that are made from one continuous single material. The left side panel includes a left rail guide, and the right side panel includes a right rail guide. The block assembly is adapted to slide into the rack chassis and includes a top cover, a left sidewall, and a right sidewall that are interconnected. The left sidewall of the block assembly includes a left rail adapted to slide into the left rail guide when the block assembly is located leftmost of the rack chassis. The right sidewall of the block assembly includes a right rail that is adapted to slide into the right rail guide when the block assembly is located rightmost of the rack chassis.

STORAGE DRIVE CARRIER FOR HIGH-DENSITY STORAGE SOLUTION
20190250679 · 2019-08-15 ·

A high density storage housing includes a housing and a plurality of drive carriers. The housing includes a storage area and a motherboard. The storage area extends across at least a portion of a width and at least a portion of a depth of the housing. The motherboard extends across the storage area and includes a plurality of first connectors. The plurality of drive carriers each include a second connector configured to mate directly with one of the plurality of first connectors. Moreover, the second connector of each drive carrier of the plurality of drive carriers is disposed on a long side of its drive carrier so that the plurality of drive carriers mount storage drives to the housing in a sideways orientation.

STORAGE COVER PLATE AND STORAGE CHASSIS USING THE SAME

The present disclosure provides a storage cover plate and a storage chassis using the same. The storage cover plate is covered on a storage chassis for accommodating a plurality of storages, wherein the storage cover plate comprises a plurality of closely arranged sub-covers, the plurality of closely arranged sub-covers each corresponds to a row of storages respectively, the plurality of the sub-covers each is capable of sliding along edges of the storage chassis, and the outermost sub-cover is locked with the storage chassis through a locking part. If one of storages needs to be operated, an unlocking operation is performed first and then the sub-cover above the storage is pushed, so that the storage below the sub-cover can be operated directly. The present disclosure is easy to install and convenient to assemble, disassemble and maintain, therefore achieving high economical efficacy and practicability.
