A disposable cleaning mitt includes a waterproof inner layer having proximal and distal ends and defining a pliable cavity configured to encase a wearer's hand. The inner layer includes an opening at the proximal end for passing the wearer's hand therethrough to enter and exit the cavity. A cleaning layer is disposed on the inner layer such that the inner layer is between the cleaning layer and the cavity. A tab is situated and accessible from inside the cavity, the tab being operatively coupled to the inner layer and the cleaning layer such that passing the tab through the opening inverts the inner layer and the cleaning layer and undelineates the cavity. The tab is configured to be pulled by at least one finger of the wearer's hand. A fastener is positioned adjacent the opening for sealing the cleaning layer inside the inner layer.

An antibacterial glove of the disclosure includes a woven or nonwoven absorbent or semi-absorbent substrate material infused with a disinfectant composition, wherein the glove includes one or more layers, and each layer comprises the woven or nonwoven absorbent or semi-absorbent substrate material. The antibacterial glove may include a hand sanitizing composition impregnated therein. The disinfectant composition may include an alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and/or hypochlorite. The woven or nonwoven absorbent or semi-absorbent substrate material may include a cellulosic fiber and/or a thermoplastic fiber.

First and second articles, which may comprise a glove and jacket sleeve or cuff, have mating geometries and at least one fastener to securely and selectively connect the two articles. In certain embodiments, magnets are provided as fasteners to connect the articles. For example, in certain embodiments, a method and system is provided that comprises features adapted to allow connection of an accessory (e.g. ski glove) to a portion of another article (e.g. jacket).

A disposable hand covering having an cohesive applied to the ends of an arm segment is disclosed. Peeling back a cover strip allows the arm section to be securely fastened to the wearer's arm. The hand covering can be used to handle contaminated material and can then be removed by the wearer. Antimicrobial technology applied to the hand covering reduces the chances of contamination. A covering strip allows easy removal without contact with the contaminated outside of the hand covering. When the disposable hand covering is removed, it everts to form a pouch. After eversion of the hand covering, an cohesive on the ends of the arm segment allows for closure of a pouch. The contaminated outside of the hand covering and any contaminated material which was held by the covered hand is contained within the pouch, allowing for safe disposal of the hand covering and its contents.
