GLOVE WITH EXTERNAL SEAM PORTION
A glove including a plurality pieces of material coupled together along a plurality of seams to form a glove. A majority of the seams of the glove, as measured along their length, are not external seams, and a thumb seam extending along or through a palm of the glove is an external seam.
Disinfection method and apparatus
Photosensitizers are incorporated into articles, such a personal protective equipment. A method of applying continuous and consistent light includes fitting the articles with light sources and optical fibers to apply light to the areas of the articles incorporated with the photosensitizers. Photosensitizers can be applied to articles by various applicators in either a gel or solution. A gel can be particularly effective when used on hydrophobic surfaces. Photodynamic reactor systems can be used to determine the effective doses of photosensitizers and the light dosimetry which can then be applied for use with the articles.
Visible safely bicycle
The visible safety bicycle is a system of several photo-luminescent plastic spirals to be visible day and night alternately, which will surround each part of the bicycle; bicycle frame parts, bicycle handlebar, bicycle seat post, bicycle fork, bicycle wheel hub, and also bicycle wheel's spokes, with high visibility of the area where they are installed, achieving security for the user.
PROTECTIVE GLOVE
A glove comprises a textile component and an electronic module component wherein the textile component comprises in order: a flame-resistant fabric having inner and outer surfaces, a first temperature detecting sensor located next to the inner surface of the flame-resistant fabric, at least one thermally insulating fabric having inner and outer surfaces, a second temperature detecting sensor located on the inner surface of the thermally insulating fabric that is closest to the skin of the wearer and an electronic module component capable of predicting body burns comprising a removable encapsulated electronic module located in a pocket of the glove.
Grip strenthening support device
A grip strengthening device having a finger portion for enhancing the grip by means of at least one artificial tendon arranged along at least one finger portion, wherein the finger portion comprises material along both sides and a tip, and possible along a dorsal side, the at least one artificial tendon is attached along both sides so that the artificial tendon may move, wherein the artificial tendon runs closer to a ventral side than the dorsal side of the finger portion, at least at positions corresponding to joints of a wearer's finger, the finger portion will transfer a force to provide a movement of the finger when the artificial tendon is retracted, wherein the artificial tendon runs in a detour towards or to a position in the middle between the dorsal and ventral side or closer to the dorsal side at a proximal portion of the finger portion.
Heated hand garment
A heated hand garment includes a body having a wrist section, and a plurality of digit sections extending therefrom. The heated hand garment further includes a heating element positioned on the body and operable to heat at least a portion of a hand of a user. The heating element includes a connecting portion configured to be positioned on the wrist section, a first digit portion extending from one end of the connecting portion, and a second digit portion extending from an opposite end of the connecting portion. The first digit portion is positioned on a first digit section of the plurality of digit sections, and the second digit portion is positioned on a second digit section of the plurality of digit sections.
GLOVE HAVING REINFORCED FINGERTIPS
A glove has a segment secured to an inside surface of one or more finger and/or a thumb. The segment is fully contained within the distal most portions of the one or more finger and/or thumb and does not overlap with any knuckle of the user's finger. The segment doubles the layer of material of the glove in the pad region of the fingertip to improve wear length or wear resistance of the glove.
Protective hand covering for infants
A protective hand covering has a flexible shell with an open end and a closed end, and a constricted region between the open and closed ends. The constricted region defines a passage for receiving the child's hand. The hand covering may be worn by an infant or small child during sleeping or other activities, A gripping material is disposed on an inside surface of the shell at the constricted region and around the passage. The gripping material has a coefficient of friction higher than a coefficient of friction of the material of the flexible shell, such that the hand covering is discouraged from coming off of the child's hand.
GLOVE WITH SEALING FEATURES
A glove is provided that includes a hand portion (HP) and a sleeve portion (SP). The hand portion (HP) includes an HP exterior surface, an HP interior surface, an interior cavity, an interior cavity opening, and an elastic collar disposed adjacent the interior cavity opening. The sleeve portion extends axially between an attachment end and an opposite distal end. The attachment end is in communication with the hand portion. The sleeve portion has an SP exterior surface and an SP interior surface. The SP interior surface defines an interior region of the sleeve portion and a circumference of the sleeve portion. The sleeve portion includes an adhesive disposed on the SP interior surface. The adhesive extends an axial distance and circumferentially around the circumference of the sleeve portion.
