One or more holes are provided inside a protective sheet of the microneedle patch, and one or more cutting lines running from an outer edge of the protective sheet toward the holes are also provided. The cutting lines may be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the hole. Providing an incision on the outer edge of the cutting lines of the protective release sheet facilitates cutting along the cutting lines. In the use of the microneedle patch, both sides of the cutting line of the protective release sheet are held and torn so as to bring out a microneedle array adhesive sheet and apply it on a skin. Then the microneedle array surface is slightly compressed, thereby the microneedle is inserted into the stratum corneum.

The invention relates to a wound care product, comprising a wound care article located in a sterilized sealed chamber defining a sterile environment. The wound care product also comprises an openable and reclosable container which has at least one outer surface portion in said sterile environment. The invention further relates to a method for using such a wound care product.

A hand-held and operated device for splitting rehabilitative elastic tape into segments and rounding corners of the rehabilitative elastic tape segments and method of use is disclosed. The device comprises a feed roll of rehabilitative elastic tape, and a housing. The housing is comprised of a vertical cutting mechanism and a cutting die punch mechanism operably coupled in tandem. There are a plurality of actuator buttons operably coupled to and aligned with the blades for setting the blades to either a cutting position or a non-cutting position. The cutting die punch mechanism is comprised of a pair of mating tools, a die punch and a cutting die. The die punch is adapted to be moved into the cutting die by hand and attain the closest possible mating of said members for cutting or forming the rounded corners of a tape segment when the tape is fed into the punching mechanism.

A fibrin-coated wound dressing article having a flexible film layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the flexible film layer, and a fibrin powder layer disposed on a surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer opposite the flexible film layer. Methods of making and using fibrin-coated wound dressing articles are included.

A medical device packaging assembly includes a cover (10), a medical packaging paper (20), a medical device (50), and an adhesive dressing (30). The cover has a pocket (14) and a perimeter (12) extending from the perimeter of the pocket. The medical packaging paper forms a hermetically tight seal between the medical packaging paper and the perimeter of the cover around the pocket. A wound dressing product that includes a substrate layer having an upper surface and a lower surface; a tacky silicone coating composition present on the upper surface and on the lower surface; and upper and lower release sheets covering the substrate and the tacky silicone coating composition on the upper and lower surfaces, respectively, and adhered to the surfaces by the tacky silicone coating composition, wherein the upper surface is less tacky than the lower surface whereby the upper release sheet can be removed from the upper surface more readily than the lower release sheet can be removed from the lower surface.
