UTILITY GLOVE
A utility glove having a palm side including a three dimensional molded palm portion formed of an elastomeric material with a thumb portion and at least one finger portion and a back side of the glove comprising a fabric material, with the molded palm portion formed in a pre-curved configuration to create a concave shape. The molded palm has one or more of thickened areas for abrasion resistance, padded areas for comfort, flex grooves for improved movement, textured grip areas for improved grip and/or perforations for breathability. The molded palm portion may be formed of different elastomeric materials to take advantage of the different characteristics of the particular materials.
A molded portion of the utility glove may be formed by placing a piece of fabric against a mold part formed in the shape of at least a portion of a hand, bringing a corresponding mold part having varying thicknesses into molding relation with the mold part in the shape of at least a portion of the hand and injecting an elastomeric material into the mold to form the molded portion.
Glove with removable fingertips
A glove, having a finger sheath comprising multiple pieces of fabric held together by seams; and reinforcements for the seams so that part of the sheath can be removed by cutting without the seams unraveling.
Bicycle glove with direct-molded padding
A method of making a glove includes placing a flexible material into a contoured mold, direct molding a resilient material (e.g., a thermoplastic elastomer) onto the flexible material while the flexible material is in the contoured mold, and securing the flexible material to other materials to create a glove. The resilient material can be applied in liquid form and at least partially solidified while in contact with the flexible material. Direct molding can include forming the resilient material into an anatomical shape and forming perforations in the resilient material. The method can be used to create a cycling glove including a palm panel having a flexible material, a resilient material formed into an anatomical shape and co-molded to the palm panel, and a back panel secured to the palm panel. The glove can further include a facing material attached to the flexible material with the resilient material sandwiched in between.

Method for manufacturing a water vapor permeable or breathable three-dimensional glove or glove lining
A method for manufacturing a water vapor permeable glove or a glove lining. The method includes steps: (A) preparing a functional layer assembly in the shape of a hand having a hand insertion opening and having a flat configuration, the flat functional layer assembly being stretchable in at least one direction, (B) subjecting the flat functional layer assembly to a stretching force and thereby transforming the flat configuration into a three-dimensional structure under the influence of the stretching force, (C) applying heat to the functional layer assembly while the functional layer assembly is subject to the stretching force, thereby relaxing the functional layer assembly and transforming the three-dimensional structure of the functional layer assembly into a stable three-dimensional structure, and (D) removing the stretching force from the functional layer assembly.

Method of producing and manufacturing gloves, and other personal protective equipment (PPE), using multi-ply flexible films
A method of producing multi-ply foil sheets intended for the manufacturing of protective covers for body parts, in particular gloves or packaging, comprising of at least two individual plies of film (12) stacked on top of each other and interconnected by means of week and non-continuous bonding, achieved by thermal embossing or ultrasonic welding. The invention also relates to personal protective equipment (PPE) or packaging made of the same multi-ply films.

Fielding Glove and Liner
A liner for attachment to an interior surface of a baseball or softball glove and gloves including such liners are described. The liner includes an internal palm element having a palm portion and a thumb portion, a pinky portion, and three finger portions. The liner also includes a false palm attached to the pinky portion of the internal palm element, a thumb strap attached to the thumb portion of the internal palm element, and a pinky strap attached to the pinky portion of the internal palm element. A first pinky sleeve padding element is attached to the pinky portion, and a second pinky sleeve padding element is attached to the pinky strap of the internal palm element. A first liner element is installed over the first and second pinky sleeve padding elements, and a second liner element is installed over and attached to the thumb strap and the thumb portion.
