LATEX COMPOSITION, SHAPED OBJECT OBTAINED THEREFROM, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAID SHAPED OBJECT
The polyisoprene-containing latex composition of the present it comprises the following components (a) and (b): (a) zinc ethylphenyldithiocarbarrote; and (b) 1-o-tolylbiguanide.
Thus, a molded article of the latex composition has high tensile strength. Further, even after the latex composition is stored for a longer period of time than before, a decrease in the tensile strength of the obtained molded article is suppressed.
Convertible insulated smart glove
A convertible insulated glove capable of being reconfigured into the form of two separately detachable half sections for the handling and placement of hot or cold objects intended to be worn on a person's hand when joined together, or alternatively used with one or both hands as pot holders when separated to protect the hands from exposure to temperature extremes. Alternatively, an insulated glove that can be partially opened or fully separated to form one or more trivets to protect a surface from a hot or cold object placed therebetween. Further, a convertible insulated glove having additional features rendering it easier to clean and resist the growth of microorganism for improved sanitation and safety with the handling of foods, as well as preventing stains and malodors from developing during use.

MEDICAL RADIATION ATTENUATION NATURAL RUBBER THIN FILMS, METHODS OF MAKING AND ARTICLES MADE THEREWITH
Medical radiation attenuation thin films, methods of making the same, and articles such as gloves made therefrom, are disclosed. The thin films utilize guayule natural rubber, sulfur and an attenuation filler such as Bi.sub.2O.sub.3. The films mix the guayule natural rubber, sulfur and attenuation filler and cure the mixture at about 80 to about 105 C. for about 40 to about 90 minutes.

Low Friction Glove for Easy Double Gloving
An elastomeric article includes a first surface and a second surface which is treated with a friction treatment. The elastomeric article can be a glove in which the first surface is an inner donning surface and the second surface is an outer grip surface. The friction treatment reduces friction on the grip surface of the gloves in order to make it easier to don a second glove on top of the grip surface of the gloves of the present invention. The gloves of the present invention may be used as a first pair of gloves in a double-gloving configuration to conform with safety protocols.
Polyurethane coated fabric
A method for making a polyurethane coated fabric, the method comprising: a) providing a fabric liner; b) applying a coating to at least part of the liner, said coating comprising a polyurethane resin and manganese ferrite dissolved in a polar aprotic solvent; c) at least partially gelling the coating with water or an aqueous solution, so that the polar aprotic solvent is extracted from the coating; d) leaching the at least partially gelled coating with water or an aqueous solution, so as to further reduce the level of the polar aprotic solvent in the coating; and e) drying and curing the coating. The coating may also contain a dark colour pigment. A composition suitable for use in the method is also provided. The method enables polyurethane coated fabric products, such as gloves, to be produced which are black or grey in colour and contain a reduced amount of residual polar aprotic solvent, such as N,N-dimethylformamide.

Elastomeric article manufacturing system and process
An elastomeric article processing system includes a conveyor chain driven by a prime mover, and a mounting mandrel configured to receive and support an elastomeric article. The mounting mandrel coupled to the conveyor chain. The mounting mandrel including an arm configured to support the elastomeric article, a movable engagement member that engages a portion of the elastomeric article to expose a printing area of the elastomeric article, and an anvil that engages the elastomeric article to support the printing area. The elastomeric article processing system also includes a printer configured to apply a marking to the printing area, and a glove inversion device configured to invert the elastomeric article while the elastomeric article is supported on the mounting mandrel.
Polymer blends of nitrile rubber and polychloroprene
Polymer compositions including blends of approximately 90 to approximately 60 percent by weight acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer and approximately 10 to approximately 40 percent by weight polychloroprene copolymer are disclosed. Methods for manufacturing unsupported gloves and for supported gloves including a knitted liner with the polymer compositions, producing gloves having an ANSI abrasion resistance level 4, are also disclosed.
