Encoder aligning apparatus
An encoder aligning apparatus includes: a first support member connected to a moveable unit moved along a base; a second support member connected to the first support member through a resilient member, the second support member being provided with an encoder facing a linear scale attached to said base; and an adjustment member penetrating the first support member to contact the second support member for adjusting the distance and the angle between the first support member and the second support member so as to properly align the encoder with the linear scale.
Automotive magnetic shield
A linear magnetic sensor shield system comprises first and second shield parts. The system may include first and second field sensor assemblies, each having field sensors disposed therein. The first shield part may be disposed adjacent to a first side and a third side of the first field sensor assembly, and the second shield part may be disposed adjacent to a second side of the second field sensor assembly. The shield parts may be formed of mu metal, by of example, or they may have a curved shape or a thickness in the range of about 0.015 inch to about 0.030 inch. A torque transmitting device is also provided.
Absolute encoder
To suppress deterioration in the detection accuracy of a rotation angle of a magnet even when a member located in the vicinity of the magnet is made of a magnetic material. An absolute encoder includes a first sub-shaft gear configured to rotate based on rotation of a main shaft, a bearing part configured to rotatably support the first sub-shaft gear around an axial line A, a support shaft configured to support the bearing part, and a spacer provided between the first sub-shaft gear and the bearing part. At least a part of the spacer is formed of a magnetic material, and the spacer is formed extending in a direction intersecting the axial line A.
