Provided is an athletic headband with removable cooling elements. The headband includes a body, first cooling elements, dropdown pocket, and second cooling element. The body has first and second openings. The body includes pockets disposed about the body between the first and second openings. The pockets have respective openings. The first cooling elements are configured to be received into the pockets through the respective openings to provide cooling about the head of the user. The dropdown pocket is secured to an interior of the body, extends below the body, and has an opening. The second cooling element is received into the dropdown pocket through the opening, wherein a first cooling element in a pocket of the body overlaps at least partially the second cooling element in the dropdown pocket and is configured to press the second cooling element into the neck of the user to provide cooling to the neck.

Various embodiments are directed to a diffuser headband system. The system may include a diffuser headband formed from an elastic material coupled to a sanitized air generating source that produces sanitized air. The diffuser headband may form a substantially oval shape and include an elastic tube attached to the elastic material. A first portion of the elastic tube may be perforated to include a group of air outlet holes spaced along a surface of the elastic tube. A second portion of the elastic tube may include an inlet that receives the sanitized air from the sanitized air generating source. The air outlet holes receive the sanitized air from the inlet and expel the sanitized air to provide an air shield that encircles a person's body wearing the diffuser headband. The air shield blocks viral aerosol droplets from entering or leaving an airspace occupied by the person wearing the diffuser headband.

Cooling Assembly

A cooling headgear is disclosed. Absorbent material within the headgear retains cold water. When worn by a user, the headgear holds the cold water to the head of the user, cooling the user.

The head-bracing body is the primary coverage means for the back of the user's head. The elastic strip connects to the head-bracing body to allow the head-bracing body to expand in order to fit different head sizes. The first lateral tail, second lateral tail, first intermediate tail, and second intermediate tail each connect to the head-bracing body, allowing for coverage of the user's head. The at least one ornament relates to a decorative unit or several units capable of being tied to the first lateral tail, second lateral tail, first intermediate tail, and second intermediate tail as a means of displaying the decorative pattern. The plurality of ventilation holes allows for heat trapped between the present invention and the user's head to escape.

A temperature control head covering and system provides for a knit cap, a knit cap with flap, a headband and other elements that provide for one or more temperature controlling elements disposed on the head covering's interior, such as but not limited to a removable or built-in temperature control pack such as an ice pack or heat pack area contained within an inside pocket within an inside liner disposed on the inside of the head covering. The present invention's inside pocket may be configured to permanently or removeably hold a temperature control pack. In some embodiments, the present invention's inside pocket may run the full length or perimeter of the hats, or in other embodiments can be limited to a particular size or placement so as to focus on an affected or specific area.
